After taking a shower in one of nicks many bathrooms Charlie took an Uber home.
He lived near campus with his flatmates, honestly Charlie couldn't have asked for a better friend group they were all amazing.
Tao was his best friend since the first day of year seven, he was weird and wacky in the best way but also very protective of Charlie. He had been clubbing with Charlie last night and only let him go hook up because he had Charlies phones location. He would have sent in a swat team in if Charlie hadn't rung him to say he was safe.
Isaac was an asexual book worm who brought a much needed calmness to the group.
El was a kind and caring artist who was dating Tao.
Then there was Tara and Darcy the resident lesbian couple.
Finally there was Aled, he was 18, a year younger than the rest of them and quite shy, so they often looked after him like a little brother.
When Charlie walked through the door Tao anxiously grabbed Charlie and examined him. "You ok?" Tao wasn't just asking about Charlies hangover he was asking about Charlies emotional state. Some hook-ups made him feel really bad.
"I'm fine Tao." Charlie smiled.
"You look more than fine. I know that smile you got some action last night." Seeing Charlie was ok Tao had immediately switched to teasing mode. "That's one hell of a hicky." Tau pointed to the mark on Charlies neck.
"So tell us about who you were with. We want all the dirty details." Darcy demanded.
"Maybe not." Charlie chuckled. "I'm still processing."
Charlie took a couple of paracetamol and went up to his room. After a nap he spent the rest of the morning studying. When he went down to the kitchen for lunch there was a knock at the door.
Charlie opened it to find nick nelson standing there, he looked just as surprised as Charlie. In one hand he held is phone in the other was a set of keys. The jaguar tag indicated that nick owned the convertible jag parked in the street behind him.
"Uhhh." Nick seemed stunned.
"Did I forget something?" Charlie asked, but he didn't think he had left anything at nick house, and how would nick have his home address? Nick could tell what Charlie was thinking because he was having similar thoughts.
"I promise I'm not stalking you. I had no idea you lived here."
"Then how? why?"
"I'm taking my son to lunch."
As if on que Aled appeared and said "Hi dad."
In that moment Charlies feelings went up down and sideways when he realised that he had slept with his friends dad!
"Come in I will only be a minuet." Aled said to nick then disappeared upstairs.
Charlie reluctantly showed nick into the kitchen. "Aleds last name is Heaney." Charlie said, confused.
"He has his mothers last name. Imogen was my girlfriend in school, we accidently conceived him when we were both sixteen. We didn't stay together but he's my son." Nick explained.
