Tao entered the kitchen where nick and Charlie were talking. He immediately recognised nick from the club and raised an eyebrow in surprise.
"Charlie you didn't tell me your man was coming around. I'm Tao his best friend and if you do anything to hurt Charlie I will hunt you down."
"Dad lets go." Aled said as he came down the stairs.
Tao looked from Charlie to nick to Aled. It took Tao a moment to piece it all together but when he did the look on his face was priceless.
Tao stood in stunned silence as nick and Aled left, but the second the front door closed behind them Tao screamed "OH MY GOD!" Tao yelled. "You slept with Aleds dad?"
"Obviously I didn't know."
"He's what? Twice your age?"
"Almost."
"Are you two dating?"
"No. It was a one night stand." Charlie sat down at the table head in hands. "What am I going to tell Aled? do I tell him? I have to tell him its his dad, he has a right to know."
"I'm sorry I freacked out at you, obviously you've done nothing wrong." Tao said as he gave Charlie a hug. "If you wanted to date him its entirely your decision."
Charlie opened Instagram and found nick nelsons profile. After overthinking for ten minuets he eventual sent a friend request. Nick accepted almost immediately and the two of them started messaging about what to tell Aled.
Charlie had no idea what the right thing to do was, he really didn't want Aled to know but he felt like Aled had a right. Nick and Charlie decided not to say anything for now and Tao was sworn to silence.
When Aled and nick got back from lunch Aled asked if he could invite the entire flat to an LGBT event that Nick was hosting at his camp that weekend. Aled knew Charlie and the others were free so Charlie had to agree.
And so it looked like nick and Charlie would be seeing each other again very soon.
