Kiran woke up the next morning, feeling happier than he did the previous night. He felt comforted that Theodore was there for him in the heat of the moment. He felt comfortable around him in ways that he couldn't explain. Granger and Annabelle had taken their leave that morning and now the house felt a little different without their kind presence around.

Zephyr took her seat across from Kiran at the kitchen table, greeting him casually, he had never really spoken to her properly since he had met her. "So, how's the plan going? I heard you four last night trying to be sneaky and quiet. You aren't the only one awake at midnight." She asks him as he scoffed down his breakfast.

"Please don't tell anyone, it's supposed to be a secret." Kiran practically begs her mid-chew, quickly checking around his surroundings out of fear that somebody else would hear. "Please don't tell anyone."

"Stop worrying, I rat you out. I'm not the most honest about what I do behind my parents' back either." She admits, making the both of them chuckle with one another just as Theodore comes into the room and sees the two of them together, taking a seat next to his sister and giving the two of them a look.

"So, Johannes is out with his friends trying to get them to agree to our plan?" Theodore looks over at his sister again before turning back to Kiran once again.

"Yeah, he told me before he left, apparently he's gone out to see this guy named Finn MacMillian." The mention of that name makes Theodore nearly choke on his breakfast.

"FINN?" He exclaims out of pure shock but Kiran doesn't know who this Finn guy is but can only assume that he's not a good person by Theo's intense reaction.

"Who's Finn? Not a good person, I'm assuming?" Zephyr shakes her head at him as Theodore heads to the front door in a state of panic. "What is going on?"

"Finn is Johannes's old friend who betrayed him in a very bad way. I'll let him explain why because it's incredibly personal between the two of them." Kiran couldn't help but feel a little guilty for what was going on between Johannes and Theodore, he didn't know the history between the two of them but knew that whatever was about to transpire between the two brothers was not going to be pretty at all. He rushed outside to find the two brothers in the midst of a deep argument.

"You cannot seriously consider going with him, Johannes! He's the reason that Pierre is dead for crying out loud, he was the reason that you went in there in the first place and now you're trusting him with something like this, the bloody monarchy is at stake here! If Kiran dies, there is nobody to take his place as his heir to the throne!" Theodore's raised voice was drawing in quite the crowd around the two of them. "We need somebody who we can trust and isn't going to abandon us half-way through the mission at our hands."

"He's changed, Theodore, he is not going to be the same after three years since I saw him last." Johannes tries to calm him down but it didn't seem to be working that well as Teddy was getting annoyed for no reason- Kiran didn't know who this Finn guy was but he knew that he had something to do with the death of Johannes's dragon. "Who else am I supposed to go for?"

"There are literally nearly a thousand people in this town, you could have picked any of them but you chose to pick Finn O'Sullivan out of all people." That surname rang a bell as he remembered the tale that he was told the night previous. "He might be the ancestor of the guy who founded this place but that doesn't mean that he is the one to be trusted in this kind of situation."

Kiran's eyes widened at that point, he knew the name O'Sullivan but he didn't know that the name was still kicking around in the town. Just then a boy appeared next to Johannes, the crowd separating as if he was some kind of important person and by the look on Theodore's face, it was Finn O'Sullivan with a beautiful fully-grown black and blue dragon walking next to him.
