Kung Lao v. Reptile

Screaming echoed through the halls of the White Lotus Temple. The screaming came from the entrance. And it just so happened to catch the attention of Kung Lao. The Shaolin thought this should be investigated at once.

As Lao entered the main hall of the temple, two things caught his attention. The bleeding corpses of two Shaolin monks and the green clad individual who was obviously their killer.

"Reptile," Kung Lao greeted cooly.

"I demand to see Raiden!" The Zaterran hissed.

"And why, may I ask, shall I do that?" Kung Lao asked with a grin.

"I demand of him to ask the Elder Gods to restore the Raptor race."

"I will not allow you to proceed."

"Then I will remove you, boy."

"Prepare to go extinct," Lao told the last of the Saurian race.

Reptile approached and lashed out with his claws. Kung Lao avoided the deadly blows and delivered a kick to the shin. Lao then smacked the lizard with the back of his hand. Kung Lao performed a kick to the head. Reptile ducked the foot and, while Lao was recovering, Reptile stabbed the Shaolin in the side.

The two fighters separated a few feet. Lao removed his razor-rimmed hat and threw it at Reptile. Reptile's tongue whipped out of his mouth and lashed the hat out of the air. The hat disappeared and reappeared on Kung Lao's head a few seconds later.

Reptile spit out acid at Lao's feet. The White Lotus jumped several feet into the air and dive kicked his opponent in the chest. Lao landed on top of the lizard and stomped on his chest. An audible crack was heard, just as audible as Reptile's groan in pain. Kung Lao stomped twice more and kicked the Zaterran in the jaw. Reptile's mouth flew open and his tongue came out and hit Lao in the chest with the strength of a fist. Reptile's claws cut open Kung Lao's stomach, shredding cloth and leaving gashes oozing blood. Kung Lao fell of Reptile and rolled away.

Kung Lao got to his feet and saw Reptile was no where to be found. He slowly crept around the hall when he saw the air shimmer. Lao reached out and grabbed the invisible Reptile and tossed him away. "Your deceptive tricks are no match for a Shaolin," Lao called. The two met again in hand-to-hand combat. Kung Lao was on the offensive, pressuring Reptile into a corner. Lao winced as a claw cut his arm.

Reptile threw a punch that was caught. Kung Lao spun Reptile around, snapped the lizard's wrist, and kneed him in the spine. Pushing him away, Kung Lao gripped his wounded stomach. He eyed Reptile cautiously and dashed to the side as Reptile ran at him. Kung Lao threw his hat at the back of his opponent and watched it tear at scales and green skin. The hat returned to Lao, not covered at all in Reptile's blue blood.

The two engaged in a grapple, forcing for dominance. Reptile spat acid on Kung Lao. This caused the Shaolin to yell in pain. Reptile capitalized and slashed Lao's face, cutting his cheek badly.

Kung Lao spat blood on to the floor. He grabbed the lizard and rammed his knee into his stomach. While Reptile keeled over, Lao threw his fists down like a hammer into the back of his skull.

With a new skull fracture, Reptile fell onto his hands and knees. Kung Lao forced him to his feet. "You've found your demise," he managed to say through the blood.

Kung Lao removed his hat and shoved it horizontally into Reptile's abdomen. The razor-rim began to spin and grind away at the Zaterran's insides. Blue blood and shredded entrails flew from Repltile's stomach as Lao continued to grind away. Lao then tripped the lizard to fall onto his back. Spread eagled, Reptile was vulnerable and in too much agony to defend himself.

Kung Lao walked by Reptile's feet and placed the hat between Reptile's legs. The hat began to move like a wheel closer to Reptile. Lao watched as the razor-rimmed weapon tore at Reptile's groin. Slowly cutting the lizard in half, Reptile screamed in unbelievable agony. He thought to himself why the Elder Gods wouldn't allow him to die yet. The hat now was traveling through his destroyed abdomen and up to his chest. The hat shredded through the bones and cut up to his neck. The wheel-like hat finished its journey by cutting the now dead Reptile's head in half.

Kung Lao retrieved his hat and walked away. He planned on visiting the infirmary, alerting Raiden of the two monks Reptile had killed, and telling his cousin how he ended a race.
