"I'm in room 36, what about you?"
"Damn it! Room 65."
Chanyeol and Kris sigh as they scrunch up their papers and throw it in the bin simultaneously. Once again, the two good friends aren't roomed together.
"I freaking told Yi Xing to recommend putting the both of us in..." Chanyeol sighs. He should've known better than to trust Yi Xing, who, although loved by all the teachers and probably students as well, can also be extremely forgetful, especially if there are a hoard of people requesting at the same time.
"Sure." Kris rolls his eyes as he grabs his bags, watching the male students rush off to their newly assigned rooms. "If anything, I betcha you requested to be roomed with a certain someone with owl-like eyes."
Chanyeol blushes as Kris laughs.
Well, maybe he had actually put that in too ... who knows ...
"You still have hope, don't you?" He sees his tall friend smile, pat him on the back, and leave for room 36. Damn you, Kris. Chanyeol thinks to himself, cheeks flushed and heart racing as he grabs his things and searches for his room number. Getting my hopes up.
While he hates school, he hates holidays even more, because it usually leaves him with a yearning for a certain dark haired boy with beautifully shaped lips and an intense gaze. Sometimes, the desire is so bad that he spends days doing nothing except imagine a scene where he and his years-old crush are friends.
He shuts his eyes tightly as he approaches the closed door, praying to God or anyone that will grant his wish to let it be Kyungsoo please please pleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease ... But before he can even lay his hands on the doorknob with his heart in his throat and his hope flying all about, the door opens and he's met with someone of Kyungsoo's height, but completely different body structure.
Jongdae.
Chanyeol groans.
"Aye!" Jongdae glances at Chanyeol, then turns towards the bathroom. "Look who's going to be my roommate."
While this is not the worst case scenario, it's still pretty damn close.
Anger dissipating off him like steam, Chanyeol grabs his belongings and throws them inside with an angry huff, absolutely frustrated and wondering why, although he doesn't have the worst luck, he still has such bad luck.
"Damnitdamnitdamnitdamnit..." Chanyeol mutters to himself as he throws himself on the vacant bed.
"Wow, you don't have to be that unhappy. I'm an okay roommate, you know?" Jongdae's voice sifts into his ears as Chanyeol continues to throw himself on the bed until he gets up immediately and glares at the speaker.
"I'm not unhappy because of you, I'm unhappy because you're friends with that stupid ass bitch of a stupid fucking ... argh!" Chanyeol roars out the last word, then throws himself back on the bed again. He's sure his bed will break by the end of today, but at this point he's too far gone to care.
"How thoughtful of you." A new voice appears, tone full of sarcasm and annoyance, and Chanyeol instinctively shuts his eyes and covers his ears. God fucking damn it, it's already bad enough that Jongdae is here, but then he has to be here as well?! Even though his ears are covered, Chanyeol can still hear that annoying voice speaking muffled words beyond his ears, but hearing that voice is already enough to blow Chanyeol off to the ceiling.
Abruptly, he springs up from his bed, pointing at the offender accusingly.
"Byun Baekhyun," he growls, glaring at the stupid boy with that stupid smirk, then moves his finger to the door, then back to the boy."You fucking get out of the here, right now."
