Jamal Murray & Isaiah Briscoe: The Parallel

Prologue

Context: Jamal and Isaiah met when they attended Kentucky State College for the basketball tournament. Well just so you know they were running around the funhouse like two kids after school. But before they begin, Jamal decided to introduce himself to the person.

Jamal Murray POV:

In case you may be wondering how I met Isaiah Briscoe, we met when we attended University of Kentucky altogether and we became very close friends. However, all of the teammates were surprised when they have found out Isaiah was starting to fall in love with me. I know for a fact that I have been filled with beauty and other things that were happening. Anyways, let's begin with the journey on how I met this man.

September 2015,
University of Kentucky,
10:00am,

He was playing for Kentucky Wildcats while the rest of the teammates were practicing for the first tournament in which it would be the first game for fall. Although, he was unaware that he is going to meet the person who attended on the same University as him. When he went to the bench, he went to him and said. "Oh Hi, what's your name?" He asked. "I'm Isaiah Briscoe," The person introduced himself. "You? What's your name?" "I'm Jamal Murray," "Hi Jamal, I'm Isaiah. Nice to meet you,"

Isaiah Briscoe: so what brings you here?

Jamal Murray: actually, I came here to play for Kentucky.

Isaiah Briscoe: you're kidding right? We're on the same team.

Jamal Murray: I know right?

Isaiah Briscoe: yep and it was just the beginning. Plus, we will be having a first tournament together.

He smiled as the practice began.

~ 2 hours after practice ~

They were changing into the locker room as Jamal was heading to the dormitory in which he is sharing with Isaiah Briscoe. Somehow, many other students knew that the relationship between Jamal and Isaiah would spark a romance. Although, they're not dating at the moment since they are still going as friends. In the meantime, Isaiah was asking if he and him can go to the county fair sometime.

Isaiah Briscoe: Oh Jamal, I know that we've been talking but I was wondering if you and me can go to the county fair sometime.

Jamal Murray: sure!

Isaiah Briscoe: Awesome! I'll see you at your dorm then?

Jamal Murray: Yep.

They were heading to the different classroom when the bell rang.

~ The after school activities ~

As seen on YouTube shorts where the sisters were at the fun house with the treadmill. In the meantime, these two men started off the fall by taken out by a treadmill in the fun house, the first person that was wearing shorts and tank top was Isaiah Briscoe and he fell and was swooped across the floor. Then the second person was Jamal Murray, he got on to the treadmill and he caught it too and went flying into the back of his friend.

Jamal Murray: my butt is on your back Isaiah

Isaiah Briscoe: Oh yeah because we ended up losing our balance haha.

Jamal Murray: Oh wait! We're stuck! What the heck? 😂 Isaiah can you get my legs off of your shoulders please?

Isaiah Briscoe: Okay hang on, let me get off.

Isaiah attempts to get up but he was still stuck.

Isaiah Briscoe: Dang it, I can't get off.

Jamal Murray: Hold on, I need to get my butt off of your back.

He grabs on the rails as Isaiah gets off quick. "Jamal, grab my hand," Isaiah said. He pulled Jamal from the treadmill and moved on to the next room. Somehow, they were smiling at each other. He and Isaiah were at the slides finding their inner kid and no matter how old they were, they would always have the inner kid in their style. (Just a disclaimer: Isaiah Briscoe is living in Jamal's dormitory, but they sleep on the separate beds since they're not dating at the moment- The romance between Jamal and Isaiah Briscoe will happen sometime in Chapter 2 or 3.). In fact, they may be wondering, are they becoming a thing or two or they're just friends. Only way to find out.

Back at Jamal's dorm,

Jamal was watching SpongeBob on his IPad while Isaiah Briscoe is in the bathroom taking a shower after he did. Thus, they were having fun together as they bonded just like any friends would do. They decided to eat at the cafeteria for dinner before attending the volleyball tournament for the boys.
