Ranbir is in his room battling with his math assignment.
Ranbir: I wish I could just kill my math teacher for giving me this hard home work. I hate this.
He throws his notebook in the air and it landed in front of prachi.
She checks the notebook and discovered that he has not done his assignment.
Prachi: looks like balku hasn't done his homework.
Ranbir: I don't know it.
Prachi: why would you? When you spend the entire day staring at the new girl.
Ranbir: her name is Rhea.
Prachi: not necessary.
Ranbir: why are you here? Are you just going to insult my girlfriend?
Prachi: not your girlfriend, you are too young to date. You are just nine.
Ranbir: but I will marry when I grow up.
Prachi: you guys bizs. I am not even going to attend your wedding.
Ranbir: neither will I attend yours. Now help me with the homework.
Prachi sits with him and help him with his assignment.
Ranbir listen to her tiny sweet voice.
Soon she was done explaining the homework.
Ranbir: you should be out teacher. Mr Singh is a bad teacher.
Prachi: well he is but he is trying.
Ranbir: he might be out teacher but you are my personal teacher.
Prachi: I must say Rhea is indeed beautiful. Almost all the boys like her.
Ranbir: I know that's why I followed her around to protect her from those bad boys.
Prachi: protector. I am going to my house. I don't want to hear more about Rhea. She is rude to me.
Ranbir: no she is an angel.
Prachi: you keep supporting the wrong person.
She leaves the room.
Ranbir: Rhea Khanna. I love you.
He said putting his notebook in his bag.

Later in the evening, the mehra family are in the Kolhi's mansion.
They are all smiling.
Pranbir are confused at their behavior.
Ranbir: mom,dad why are you all smiling like this? Who gave birth or are you pregnant?
Pallavi: I am not.
Ranbir: did someone die then?
Pallavi: hey, never say such things. Nobody died. What is going to happen here is a good beautiful news.
Ranbir: what's wrong? Did your parents tell you anything?
He whispered to prachi
Prachi: nope they only told me to wear this saree.
She whispered back.
Ranbir: them smiling is creepy. They are showing us their oldie teeth.
Prachi: it's weird.
They giggled.
Pallavi: they are even whispering to each other.
Abhi: they are perfect.
Ranbir: what do they mean?
He whispered
Prachi: I got no idea. Let's just keep watching.
She whispered back.
Vikram: I know you guys are wondering why we called this meeting here.
Ranbir: only two of us are the rest of you knows what is going on.
He whispered and prachi chuckled.
Vikram: Ranbir
He gave Ranbir a Stern look.
Ranbir: I am sorry.
To avoid getting scold, prachi hide her smile behind a glass of water.
Vikram:  Ranbir,our families have been friends for the past 12 years, we are still together through thick and thorn.So we have decided that you and prachi will get engaged.
Prachi who was drinking water spitted it out.
Ranbir: what?
Seeing the children's expression made their parents panicking.
Abhi: do you agree?
He said looking tensed.
Ranbir: uncle we........
Prachi cuts in.
Prachi:dad  we accept. We will get married.
Their parents' face expression changed to a happy one.
Ranbir was shocked, he kept staring at prachi.
Pragya: may the Almighty bless you both.
Abhi: we can't you guys married now, so we will get you engaged. Your engagement is in four days. You grandmas will be here.
Pallavi: let me get the sweet.
She goes to get the sweet.
She and prachi fed the sweet to everyone.

Later, prachi is in her room thinking about her engagement with Ranbir.
Just then Ranbir walks in looking angry and upset at the same time.
Prachi: hey Ranbir, I was thinking of coming to speak.
Ranbir: why did you agree?
Prachi: everyone was looking sad thinking that we will say no. I said it to make them happy.
Ranbir: we can't say no now.
Prachi: I know.
Ranbir: did you really want to marry me?
Prachi: nope, I don't want to. You are a bad boy.
Ranbir: neither do I,you are a goodie girl.
Prachi: don't worry my parents and I will leave for London in month time so all this will end soon.
Ranbir: I am going to miss you chikchik.
Prachi: me too. Balku.
Ranbir: you should really stop calling me balku.
Prachi: I love that name for you.
Ranbir: for that I won't talk to you again.
Prachi: so do I?
Ranbir stands to leave.
Ranbir: I hate you.
Prachi: I hate you too.
He left the room and prachi giggled.

At school,it was lunch time.
Prachi was busy waiting for Ranbir to have lunch with him as pallavi packed his lunch with hers.
She sighted him trying to talk to Rhea who was ignoring.
Prachi smiles and went over to meet him.
Prachi: hi Rhea.
Rhea: don't talk to me I hate you.
Prachi: wasn't trying to either,just want to take that balku behind you.
Rhea: balku!!
She laughs at the name.
Rhea: wait till I tell my friends this.
She went over to meet her friends who were chit chatting.
Ranbir: see what you've caused.
He pointed to Rhea's friends who were laughing over Ranbir's nickname 'balku'.
Prachi: I am hungry let's eat.
Ranbir: I am not hungry.
Prachi: then I will eat all the food.
Ranbir: hey don't eat my share.
They run towards the table where prachi placed the lunch box.

They ate together making fun of their teachers.
Ranbir: tomorrow is the engagement.
Prachi: I know, I am nervous.
Ranbir: so am I.
Prachi: my dad created a name for us 'pranbir'
Ranbir: ehhhhewwww. The name sounds horrible.
Prachi: I know right?
Ranbir: my mom has been calling us a couple.
Prachi: everything is crazy.
Ranbir: I know.
The bell rings. The lunch time was over.
They headed for their class.
