It was on a Monday morning, it was time for college
Ranbir was all prepared for school.
He walks downstairs to see the mehra family and his parents having breakfast.
Ranbir: morning mom and dad. Morning aunt pragya and chief.
All: morning.
Ranbir took a toast.
Ranbir: I am off to school.
Pallavi: wait you have to take prachi along with you. She is going your college.
Ranbir: ok where is she?
Prachi walks downstairs wearing a yellow tan top with a blue jean.
Her hair is packed up making her look more stunning.
With her bag in her hand,she comes downstairs.
Prachi: good morning mom and dad. Good morning aunt pallavi and uncle Vikram.
She collects their blessings.
Abhi: morning sweetheart.
Pragya: have breakfast.
Prachi: no.
She took an apple.
Prachi: I am fine.
Pallavi: Ranbir will drop you off at school.
Prachi: ok aunt.

They went to the car.
They entered the car.

Ranbir: hey why are you acting do formal with me?

He slows down the car but it was too slow enough.
Prachi: hey the car is too slow. We will be late for college.
Ranbir: you asked me to slow down.
Prachi: ok fine. Speed upppp!!
They giggled and they speed off to college.

Ranbir parked his car in the school parking lot and he and prachi got out of the car.
Prachi: I thought we were going to have an accident.
Ranbir: so you don't trust me with your life.
Prachi: I do but I don't trust you being a good driver.
Ranbir: well I am a bad boy.
Prachi: no you are a stupid one.
Rhea comes there.
Rhea: i see baklu and chikchik are now back together.
Prachi: hi Rhea.
Rhea: I hate you so keep your hi to yourself. Ranbir I want to see you now.
She walks again.
Prachi feels bad.
Ranbir: I will be back prachi I need to see my babe.
He follows Rhea.
Prachi: guess I am going to have to find my class myself.
She turns to leave but bumped into Aryan.
Prachi: hi
Aryan: hey prachi. Are you now attending our college?
Prachi: yes, my parents suggested I come here.
Aryan: let me show you to your class.
They entered the school.

Later at lunch, Ranbir and prachi are having lunch and the only he kept talking about is Rhea.
Ranbir: I love the way Rhea does,it's amazing. Her fashion taste are so incredible unlike other girls that wore classless clothes. She is just so beautiful.
Prachi felt hurt by Ranbir's words.
She excused herself to the bathroom.
Rhea approached Ranbir.
Rhea: hey can you help me with my books?
Ranbir: yh sure.
He left with her.
Prachi came back but she didn't see Ranbir.
Prachi: he has gone with Rhea again.
She sighed as she ate her lunch in silence.
Ranbir has really changed. He doesn't even make time for her. He is always after Rhea.
She stared at the engagement ring in her hand.
Since she came, she has seen Ranbir remove his ring on two different occasions but she never removes hers.
She felt sad and heartbroken, she has been forgotten.
She just left there to the library.
Ranbir came there later in search of prachi.
Ranbir: where has she gone? She has been disappearing since morning.
He checks but couldn't find her.
Ranbir: that girl is impossible.
He sat and had a cup of juice.
He sighed. He was tired. Rhea has been asking him to help her all day.
He loves her but she is not making him have any spare time to himself.
He looked around one last time got prachi but he didn't see her so he just left.

At home, Ranbir didn't see prachi so he went home all by himself.
As he parked his car, he saw Aryan's car.
Ranbir: hey bro.
Aryan: wats sup.
Ranbir: I am fine. What are you doing here?
Aryan: I came to drop prachi.
Prachi gets down from the car.
Prachi: thanks Aryan.
Aryan: it's nothing. We are friends after all.
Prachi: yh.
Aryan: bye prachi.
Prachi: bye drive safe.
Aryan: thanks.
He didn't say goodbye to Ranbir.
Ranbir: bye Aryan.
Aryan: yh
He said as he entered his car and drove away.
Ranbir: you were just appearing and disappearing all day.
Prachi: I was just at the library.
Ranbir: ok let's go in.

They enter the house.
Later that day,a meeting was called.
Pragya: we ladies of the house have decided that you guys will have your garlic ceremony this weekend.
Pranbir look at themselves in shock.
Pallavi: I know you guys are shocked.
Abhi: I feel blessed. My daughter is getting married.
Vikram: and I am happy that I am having a beautiful daughter-in-law like prachi.
They all giggled except for pranbir who didn't feel happy about this.

~prachi's POV~
Hmm,I don't think I should marry Ranbir. Ranbir doesn't like. He loves Rhea. He prefer her to me. I think I should tell Mom and Dad about it but they will be heartbroken. I don't know what to do.

Ranbir too was also lost in his thought.

I don't think I want to marry prachi. She is not someone I can marry. She is not even my type. I want to marry Rhea but I can't tell my parents. They will be heartbroken.

Pragya: prachi, pallavi and I will be going for shopping on Friday while Ranbir, abhi and Vikram will be doing your shopping yourselves.
Abhi: fair enough, we can have so bro time.
Ranbir: uncle please don't say that, it's old.
Abhi: look at who is talking, when you are just a little kid, you will ask me to teach you English like this.
Ranbir: that's was years ago.
He mumbled.
Abhi: what did you say?

Pallavi: bestie let's go call the decorator. We need to make plans for the ceremony.

They left.

Ranbir sat on his bed and prachi sat in the couch next to the bed.

Prachi: no, we don't like each other.
Ranbir: right? And we can't even tell our parents about this.
Prachi: then what should we do?
Ranbir: maybe we should prove to our parents that we are not a good match.
Prachi: hmm I think it's good.
Ranbir: what! it's meant to be good. It's my idea and I am a genius.
Prachi: who told you that? Did rhea say that?
Ranbir:none of your business.
Prachi: we could try the plan. There is no harm in trying. So what is our first move?
Ranbir: you are going to be rude to my parents.

She left.

He said as he put on his head phone.
