Chapter Six- A Lustful Heart

Two days passed until Killian awoke. He appeared as if he had just awoke from a normal sleep. Emma did not hesitate from his side for even a moment, as she hugged him tightly before he pulled on his restraints.

"What the bloody hell?"

"You became cruel..." She spoke as she turned and he saw scratches upon her neck. Harsh red lines that showed where he attempted to break free.

"I'm so sorry. Love, I would never-"

"I know, it isn't you..."

He sat up, his hands being pulled down on the bed. His eyes were filled with self-disappointment and sadness. "What is wrong with me?"

"Your heart. My heart-the one I gave you to live...It is...contaminated with the darkness that I did not rid of before giving it to you. Since you had a selfish heart before and you are fueled with rage, revenge, and lust...it will be that much harder to rid."

"But I am alright now. Really. I can control everything." He said trying to move. "Bad example." He said with a smirk. "Please untie me. I want to make sure you are alright."

"I'm fine. Just tired."

"Then let me relax you." He said moving his hands.

Out of desperation for his touch, she unlatched the locks and ties before he grabbed her and threw her beside him on the bed. With no warning, his lips were on hers and he was kissing her with great passion-only more harsh than loving as he usual was. She moved her hands to his shoulders and attempted to push him away but found he was too strong. He had her legs pinned beneath him and her arms above her head with his hook and his other hand.

"Killian!' She called out but his lips caused her voice to muffle. Eventually, after fighting for some time, Killian was locked back into his restraints and only his feet remained. As he was stabilized, she moved back and revealed a scar on hear arm from his hook.

"Serves you right for teasing a man." He said with dark eyes. The reflection she saw looking back was the darkness that almost took her. The darkness that almost caused an unhappy ending for her love for Killian. She knew she would never give up on him but was unsure exactly what to do . She loved him, desired him, and trusted him. But she would soon learn how evil and manipulative the darkness truly was....
