Chapter Ten- Half of Me

"What do we do?" Emma asked as she felt a sharpness in her chest. But she would not let him know this as she remembered the feeling all too well....Clutching onto the leather of Killian's leather jacket that was upon her shoulders, she noticed how her arms seemed to tense. "Ah...So this is what it's like to have muscles." She said with a chuckle.

         "Now is not the time for that love..." Killian said as he did the same to Emma's red leather jacket that seemed almost too tight. He shifted uncomfortable in the fabric before slowly moving toward her. Even though it was himself looking back at him, he saw she was the one truly inside of him. He grabbed her hand before feeling an unnerving energy almost as if they were being electrocuted.

         They both jumped back quickly before Emma felt the darkness creep inside her. She pushed it down almost as if it was a sickness before she was away from Killian. That and the fact they had to find where the rest of the town was located. Leaving the shop, they saw how everyone seemed alright and present. They looked at one another with confusion before Emma ran to Henry, Snow, and Charming before giving them hugs. They pulled back with confusion before Emma realized they saw it as Killian hugging them, not Emma. He cleared his throat before fixing his jacket and nodding to Emma who then hugged them. Charming came close to Killian and hit him somewhat hard on the back and made a joke about him having a soft side. As Charming turned to receive his hug from Emma-who was really killian, Emma then motioned her arm to ease the ache that his hit caused.

             "Where were you guys?" Henry asked as he looked to them before he noticed they looked to one another before answering.

            "Gold's shop." They both said in unison.

             "Where were all of you?" Emma asked-as Killian.

             "Not sure." Snow said as she reached and grabbed Emma's hand as it was truly Killian who shot Emma a glance of "what do I do?". She nodded before he reached out and smiled. "We were all at Granny's before this cloud of smoke came and we were separated. Then all of a sudden, we were back here..."

            "As long as everyone is safe..." Emma said, closing her eyes realizing they saw her as Killian-a selfish pirate. As they walked back toward the dinner, Charming moved toward Killian and came close to him.

            "You alright? You don't seem like yourself...."

            He chuckled before smirking. "You don't know the half of it..."
