Cerulean Flames

Chapter One- Demigods and Dragons

"No!" Emma screamed as she attempted to smite Hades with her power. Light shot from her hands and swirled around him but it dissipated quickly-falling around his feet.

"You think you are a match against me? How cute."

"What are you doing here?" Maleficent asked as she stood in front of Lily, protecting her. "I thought you were doomed to remain there..."

"I was...Until a little portal opened up and I hopped a ride to this fine dimension. I saw how my demons were unable to do ask I asked so I decided to do it myself."

"What exactly did you ask?"

"That's for me to know and you to find out later. Or not-depending if you can live through this..." He disappeared into a crowd of gray smoke before a giant creature took his place.

"Cerberus..." Maleficent said as she backed away from the group and then transformed into her dragon self. Lily did the same as they flew above, blasting the three headed dog creature with their fire breath. The rest of the group were unable to fight as the creature was too massive and they would only injure themselves.

As Emma stood there, she felt a pulling at her hand and opened it as a sterling silver sword with gems on the handle. She looked around in amazement as she noticed Henry was writing something in a journal with an antique quill. Killian stood beside her and gave her a nod before she gripped it tight and charged for the group of skeletal goons that emerged from behind Cerberus. Killian rose his sword from his side and fought beside her, eventually tearing through them all leaving just a pile of immobile bones.

Maleficent and Lily charged the beast together, causing it to become nothing but black dust. But as the dragons went to land, they nearly crushed Emma. Killian pulled her away just in time and they had a moment-looking into each others arms. The looks they gave each other told both of them how much they wanted to be with one another. Even in the heat of battle, they felt the heat for each other.

The scene grew quiet as they watched for Hades. All of a sudden, the grey smoke appeared and he was in the center of them. His white skin and blue flamed hair nearly terrified the group-yet they stood together.

"You believe you are so strong together yet you have only dealt with the issues of ones far less malicious then I. You believe you can stick together through anything do you not? Why don't we test such a theory?" Everyone was then covered in gray some and taken somewhere they did not recognize. A place hellish and hot.

"Welcome to the underworld my lovelies. Where I am now able to come and go as I please, as long as I do not travel alone..."

Emma was beside Killian and held his hand tight. They looked at one another with big eyes before Killian stood before her, blocking her from the souls reaching out to them.
