Ch. 5 - The Past and Memories

'No. It's not Bubbles. Who is she?!' Blossom thought as she looked at unknown girl android. "You shouldn't be here."

Blossom looked behind her and saw Dexter. "Dexter! I..." She tried to find the words to speak more. "Out! Get..." The boy genius started to push her out the laboratory. "Out!"

"But I..." The pink powerpuff was just outside the door and looked back at the boy. "Dexter..."

"Otto?" Blossom goes up to a boy. He wears black glasses, his hair only concists out of a pluck of brown hair on his head. "Oh. Hi Blossom." He said. "Otto, I need to talk to you... About Dexter."

- Later -

The two were outside. Blossom sat on the pavement while Otto stood beside her. "Okay... So you got inside his secret lab and then you saw this... girl?" Otto asked, scratching back of his head. "Who was that, Otto?" Blossom asks the boy.

"That was just an android." He starts to explain. "A robot, an exact replica of his older sister." Otto explained and Blossom looked surprised. "Dexter has a sister?! What happens to her?!"

"She... She died."

Blossom gets up. "How could this happen?! When?! Where?! How?!" She questioned Otto and he stayed silent for a moment. "Otto, please! You're one of Dexter's closest friends. I don't know who else I can turn to. I need to know! You have to tell me!"

"I guess you deserve to know." Otto said as he started to type on his watch. "I do?" Blossom questions the boy. "I'll explain one the way... I just hope you're ready for this."

"What are you doing?" Blossom asks. "We're going on a little trip... to the past." Otto states. "You mean time traveling?"

"Yep!" A time bubble forms around the two. "You're a time traveler?!" The redhead says. "Uh... Yeah... I guess now was the best time to tell you that." Otto scratches the back of his head. "Is there anything in this school that I don't know..."

- In Megaville Elementary

Brielle's head lifts up from her desk when she sensed that one of her sisters were gone but she puts it down since she knows that she's safe. Madison and Joshua looked at her in confusion.

- In the Past -

Blossom and Otto's silhouettes started to appear as they appeared in a laboratory. "...about? This is..." Blossom looks at the place. "I've activated the time cloak so we'll be invisible to anything in the area, that way nobody can see us. Welcome to Dexter's Laboratory..."

"Deedee !!!" A past Dexter was chasing a older girl with blonde, pigtailed hair and a ballerina outfit. "Get out of my la-bo-ra-to-ry!" He shouted and she presses a red button which caused a explosion and he continued to chase the girl around with ash now covering his body. "Get out! Get out! Get out!"

Deedee presses another button which turns Dexter into a rabbit. Blossom sweat drops at the scene in front of her. "That's his sister?" She asked. "Uh-huh." Otto said as the two continued to look further through the past.

"With his sister always there to wreck them. Always wrecking havoc and mayhem. You might say they were an inseparable pair, however. Dexer, being the typical man of science that he was, often considered his free-spirited sister to be the biggest obstacle in his pursuit for scientific achievement. Or, to make a long story shorter, they had a normal sibling rivalry like any other brother and sister." Otto explained and the two appeared in a another past memory.

"What are they doing now?" Blossom asked as she saw Dexter and Deedee sitting on grass. Deedee now had a white dress and white flower in hair while Dexter didn't have a shirt on. "In times of doubt (and when he was caged up in the lab for too long), Dexter would seek out his sister's help for guidance and enlightenment. Using her knowledge to the outside world, Deedee continually taught Dexter the... 'Way of the Deedee' or whatever you call it." Otte explained and they watched the interact.
