Ch. 11 - A Normal Day for Tryouts

After saving Dexter from a weird jelly-like octopus monster, they make it to lunch where they all sit at different tables. Blossom sat with Dexter, Buttercup with Tootie and Suzy with some others, and Brielle and Bubbles sat together with their friends.

"Yeah, Monsters may be scary, but as long as we work together, we can beat em up!" Bubbles said after they finished the conversation about the monster from earlier and Brielle giggled at her words while Gaz and Madison played a game together, Joshua looked at his phone for a moment and Mandy drank her milk.

They all soon feel a presence and look over to a girl with black hair in long up right pigtails as she walked by. "Who is that girl?" Bubbles asked.

"That's Olga," Mandy said "She seems... Darker. Darker than normal."

"Impressive doom cloud." Gaz said.

"Doom cloud? What do you mean? Why haven't I seen her before?" Bubbles questioned as Brielle looked at Olga with a somewhat concerned look. "She's too busy." Mandy said making the purple Powerpuff look at her. "Too busy?"

"She sat at our table, you would have seen her by now. If she hadn't quit everything but her dancing." Upon hearing that Brielle nervously chuckled as Bubbles became excited. "Dancing?"

"Yeah, she's the best dancer on the Megaville Elementary Dance Troupe." Madison explained without looking at them. "She practically runs it since she succeeded the last dance-" Mandy stops when she sees that Bubbles is gone along with Brielle making Joshua sigh.

Bubbles basically bragged her sister over to Olga causing two sunshines to be over her doom cloud. "You run the dance troupe? Hi, I'm Bubbles and this is my sister, Brielle!" The blonde said excitedly as Brielle softly waved. "Oh, I'm Olga. Yes, I'm in the dance troupe."

Bubbles soon begins to ramble on about dancing until she finished. "You like dancing, huh?" Olga questioned her. "Oh, yes! Yes yes yes!" Bubbles said excitedly and Olga smirks. "Maybe you should come to the try-outs in the auditorium after school today."

"Really? There are try-outs?" "Yes, I'd like to see what you can do." Olga told her. "I'll be there!"

Olga then looks over to Brielle. "How about you? Are you into dancing?" She asked her and Brielle looks away embarrassingly. "Yeah, but I'm more of a singer." She stated. "Even better. I hope to see you there as well." Brielle just nods.

The two sisters were now with Blossom and Dexter who were working on a project. "A dance troupe?" The red-head asked her sisters. "Right after school? Isn't that great?"

"I guess, Bubbles, but, well... I think Dexter and I are going to try and figure out what to do for the big science project. Right?" Blossom asked him as he begin to think about the monster from before. "Ah... yes. My original project idea was sound, but the attempted experimentation phase was, regrettably, not what I might refer to as... an optimum solution for a suitable grade."

Bubbles looks at him in confusion and dotted eyes with Brielle just laughing it off before she notices Madison walking into the room. "Hey, Madi!" The girl turns to her best friend. "What's up, BriBri?"

"Are you willing to come to dance try-outs with me and Bubbles? Please?" She said softly as she looked at her with puppy eyes which Madison squealed at in the inside but she shakes her head. "Sorry, BriBri but that's not going to work on me," she crossed her arms as Brielle pouted.

'It works on Josh...' she thought and sighed. "Fine." She groaned and Madison laughed.

The bell soon rings and Bubbles begins to drag Buttercup behind her with Brielle behind them. "Aw, come on, you can do that later? Look! Buttercup to go!" The blonde said. "Huh? Where do I want to go?"
