Nico and Kai are busy making the fettuccine alfredo while the girls and I are trying our best not to burn the crust that we just put in the oven. We decided to celebrate since the exam just ended. The week before the exam was very draining and tough for all of us. Aside from that, I even mistook coffee as water just so I could stay up all night memorizing and understanding everything.

I leaned on the counter with my arms crossed on my chest as I weigh if this crust is going to burn or not. The last time we tried to make a homemade pizza, we ended up eating one from Yellow Cab because the crust exceeded the expected color. Well, it kind of turned black. I let out a sigh and turned my back to check on the charcuterie board they are trying to do. They're setting it up here on the table since the countertop is being used by Kai and Nico.

"Yvonnie, sigurado ka ba na tama 'to? I mean look at this," I pointed the messy set up. The foods are not properly arranged. It's like she threw them on the board expecting the foods to fix themselves. I asked her to move aside and decided to fix it.

"Let's all make a toast," I lifted my gaze to Kai. He's standing while his other hand is holding a glass of grape juice. We still stick to juices because Zel and I are still minors. "To Stel for tutoring us Basic Calculus," they all stood up, ready to clink their glasses. I shook my head and covered my eyes as I laugh from this nonsense.

"To Estella Riella de Leon!" They all said in unison as they clink their glasses. After that we continued eating what we cooked. The supper is good, as usual. As long as Kai is with us in the kitchen, the food will be good. "Let's go out tomorrow?" Before I could even respond to Von, the phone placed in front of Zel glowed and ringed. We all looked at her, waiting for whatever she is about to say.

Sigurado na susunduin na 'to.

"Ah, okay po. Sige. I'll just say good bye to my friends, Mom."

"I'll have to go na. My sundo is already here," binesohan niya muna si Von at sunod naman sa akin. "Bye, girly! Ingat!"

"That's what happen when you buy perfumes that cost ₱5,000 and your only source of income is your monthly allowance," I chuckled from what she said. For these past few months, a week or two after receiving his allowance, he would complain to us that he's already broke. We were all confused where is he spending his money.

Yes, we go out probably twice or thrice a week but we don't go to fine dining restaurants. He has his own car, but as far as I know his parents give him a separate money for gas and car maintenance. Then, a week ago Zel saw his comment on an Instagram bidding post! He paid ₱17,050 for a single perfume!

Hello?!

"Can't you manage your spending. Unlike the four of us who have to wait every 30 days to get our allowance, some people just randomly receives it," they all looked at me at once before shaking their heads.
