It wasn't anybody's fault that Dallas Winston and Johnny Cade had died that night.
There was nobody that you could blame or get mad at, nobody you could hurt or scream at. Because the person you where mad at was the person who was now gone.
Twelve months before Dallas Winston died"Gosh Dallas you're such a dick!" I yelled at Dallas because he 'accidentally' spilled a drink on my shirt. "Thanks for the compliment Donna" he said with a smirk.
Dallas Winston was a troublemaker , but so was I.
Dallas Winston was a guy who liked parties, making trouble, doing things he's not supposed to and women. He didn't appreciate women, but he loved them at the same time. He would have one in his room at Bucks every night, or at least that's what I heard. There were a lot of rumors about Dallas Winston, but you never knew if they were true, nobody ever found out because if you did have the balls to ask him, he would hurt you. He didn't care how young old, boy girl, fat skinny name it! Dallas Winston always got what he wanted. "And what if he didn't?" Some might ask, well there isn't really an answer to that because, he always and when I tell you, ALWAYS, got what he wanted.
I had to deal with Dallas Winston every weekend because I worked at bucks as a bartender. I was good at my job, I guess a lot helped because I was hot. I have a hazelnut reddish kind of hair color that goes down to my lower back, light blue almost grey eyes, full lips but still soft and a fit looking body. I guess that my characteristics aren't the best, but that was fine, I had to deal with soc's anyways so, who's blaming me?
"Dallas Winston if you don't calm yourself down you're getting kicked out." I said while putting my hands on his table leaning forward towards him. I had a sharp look in my eyes, I was trying to make myself clear but it wasn't clear enough for him. "Oh my, I really do not want to get kicked out of this shithole of a place, what am I gonna do?" He said trying to sound dramatic but in a sarcastic way. "Dallas, I'm serious, if you don't leave me the fu-" my voice was cut off by a loud bang which was caused by the front door opening.
"Hello ya dirty greasers!" Some soc's said while letting out the most drunk laugh I've ever heard. Everyone started yelling at him and at this point it was just chaos, I put my hands on my face in frustration, and just sat there for a few seconds, tired.
"Alright everyone shut up!" I yelled, but nobody listened. "Gosh! Everyone shut up now!" I yelled even louder but again, nobody listened. Dallas Winston got up from his seat. "What do you think you're doing?" I asked him afraid of what he would do now. He looked at me with the same smirk on his face from before, but ignored me. He started walking towards the soc's. 'Shit' I thought to myself. "Dallas is gonna start a fight" I said to myself. Buck always told me, "whatever you do, do not let a fight happen at bucks, especially with Dally." I panicked for a second, I couldn't control all these people. Until I got an idea.
I picked up a glass cup from one of the drawers, and looked at it for a second. "This doesn't look new enough anyway" I said to myself. Without hesitation I smashed the glass on the ground which was loud enough for everyone to hear. "EVERYONE SHUT UP!" And this time people heard me. Most people started going back to talking quietly until I hear a very familiar voice say.
"And what if we don't?" Dallas Winston said. God I really did not have time for him, why did he always have to be so shitty? "Dallas, I really don't have time for this" I told Dallas looking straight in his eyes. He looked me in the eyes for a few seconds, just without saying anything. "No really, I wanna know what you will do if we don't shut up, what will you, Donna green do?" I felt a sense of anger rising up on me, I walked towards him slowly. Once I was face to face with him, I did this.
"I'll do this" without hesitation I punched him in the face as hard as I could, I let all my anger out to him, i didn't care anymore.
I hated Dallas Winston. I hated him.
