||chapter 4||missing life and a helpful friend||

Quinn's pov

As I made my way to school I saw Katie. My mother has now gotten over what happened, she now let's me go over to her house all the time  to Katie's house or should I say pidge~

For some reason when I'm around her she makes me feel happy. When I'm around her she makes me happy she makes me so happy to the point that I practically skip to her house when ever she lets me come over. Like today. But today I wanted to bring a surprise. I wanted to bring some of my painting stuff, not a lot but enough to for some watercolors. And as I knocked on the door pidge answered. I recently found out that's the nickname her brother gave her and she hates it so we use it all the time. 🤭

"Hey" I said walking into her house I took of my shoes and made my way to Pidges room. "Are you hurt p~" Matt said "no?" Matt sighed and said "you should be from being this hot" he said as he winked I smiled and walked up to him and said in his ear "keep practicing. But if you use that and any other cheesy pick up lines I will make sure your children won't be made." His face showed fear as I stepped away with a smile and grabbed Pidges hand and brought her upstairs so we can paint.

"You act like this is your house" Pidge said in a little laugh I felt my face turn red, for some reason I thought that, that laugh was the cutest laugh of all time. "I mean like your mom said this is my second home sooooo she said it's fine" Pidge face palmed and pulled out our homework "SHIT" I screamed that and pidge said "forgot your homework at school?" I nodded and pidge started laughing "I know that's why I have it." So we sat down next to each other and ended up doing homework the we wanted some snacks and walked down stairs. By this point mr.holt and Matt have been at the Kerebos mission (even though inside of the show it says it takes months we're just gunna act 🤭) but as we made our way down stairs pidge stoped and we stared at the tv in shock. Pidge started crying and formed of upstairs. I followed her and asked her "do you want me to ask if I could spend the night?"

I started panicking saying I'm used to being the sad so I don't really know what  todo but like WHAT AM I SUPOSED TODO!? "Just GO HOME." She said I could feel the anger in her voice so I grabbed my stuff and I said "if you don't stop me now I'm going back to my house and I won't be able to see you for the rest of the weekend.." I could feel her staring at me so I turned around. She ran up to me hugged me and said "i know your long about the leaving part." I giggled and said "ima tell my mom I'm staying the night and ima ask your mom."  She nodded and as I left he closed the door behind me.

As I made my way down stairs I prepared myself for what to say to sell it and make sure I can stay the night. "Uuhhh,m my other mother my fav one! He..he" mrs.holt looked at me and said "y-yes?" In a tearful voice. "I was wondering if I could stay the night? Pidge and I kinda saw the news and I wanna be here for her.." the woman nodded her head and said "of course. Just don't stay up too late.."  "ok I'll go tell my mom." As I walked upstairs I yelled "thank you!!!!!" I ran faster ALMOST tripped but made it to Pidges room. As I opened up the door pidge wasn't there so I knocked on her closet and all the rooms upstairs until I saw Matt's door was cracked open. She was wearing one of his hoodies and was cuddled in his bed. As I walked up to her I said "room for one more?" She nodded and I skipped into her brothers bed with her and cuddled her "let it out.. no need to feel to meh about it just let it go. Let it all out. It works more then you would think." I whispered and she started to cry. We will find them. We will searcher the galaxy until we find them." I felt her hug me back and and with out thinking I kissed her on her head. Her eyes sparkled as she looked back up at me.

"Did you just?" I felt my face become red and I hid myself in the covers. Pidge snuggled up closer to me and whispered in my ear "I love you"  felt my face become red and I hid under the covers more then I was before. Pidge lifted me up and faced me. Face to face. "I love you quinn." I nodded from embarrassment and I felt a peck on my forehead. I fell asleep next to pidge and soon morning came.
