||chapter 5||a sneek and a peek||

Quinn's pov

When I woke up I wasn't in Pidges room I was inside of her brothers. I was shocked until I got up and saw that she was at the end of the bed trying to find out what she could about the disappearance of her father, and brother. I grabbed the blanket and wrapped myself in it, then I crawled up to her and rested my head on her shoulder.

"Good morning" she jolted at my 'sudden presence' and repeated my previous comment "good morning" as I looked at her and her screen I asked "how long?" She paused and said "4:57am" I grabbed her and pulled her under the covers and said "two hours of sleep isn't enough for you." We giggled as I released her from my mighty grip.

"What did you find sofar?" I asked. She looked at me and said "it's all the same article. 'Lost in space' 'lost in space' 'lost in space, or a malfunction who knows tune- yah I'm not finishing that tittle" I giggled again and asked "what time is it?" She looked at me and said "10am" at her words I jumped up and said "I'm going to tel my mom the news and see if I can stay here until like a lill later ya know? I wanna help." She nodded and went beck to her work but I stoped at the doorframe of Matt's room

As I turned around I speed walked to pidge and I started at my feet as I was directly across from her but she was sitting down on the edge of the bed and I was standing. "What are you doing?" I looked up at her and Edie's she could process anything I kissed her on her lips. I then ran out of the room and texted my mom if I could stay till it was latter and I then asked mrs.holt and she said yes so as I made my way up to Matt's room pidge shot up and told me

"THE GARRISON IS HIFDING SOMETHING AND I KNOW IT. THEY KNOW SOMETHING AND I WANNA KNOW IT TO. SO IM GOING TO-" I peeked outside and kissed her again but on the cheek. She went sickest after that and so did I. "Why are you so kissy? Have you been waiting todo that?" I blushed and pushed her away "do your stuff if but if you ramble too much I'll leave and work at home." "Ok! Ok! But look. Within this time they were supposed to do this and this there's a gap. Their trying to cover it. And I know it."

"I see, I see. Is there any logs you havnt read yet within the alepready six hours you've been awake." She gave me a blank face and said "I've read the current ones." I blinked and asked "like the ones posted writhing 12 hours?" She facepalmed and said "yes Babe" from me just sitting in the bed to laying down and in the fettle position kicking my feet. "JEJDDJRJDNEK" she looked at me and said "what?" "YOU CALLED ME BABE" her face turned red and went back to what she was doing until I almost kicked her off then I was kicked out of the room.

(Time skip to like the time when pidge gets caught in the garrison and you get a call from her MoThEr )

It was late at night/early morning. I got a call from my other mother🥰 and this is how it went.

"Uhm. Quinn I already called your mother and she said yes. Pidge got into some trouble and I need you here now." I slowly got out of bed and listened as my other mother spoke And made my way downstairs, got my shoes and told my mom I'm running over to the holts. She agreed and let me go. As I made my way I couldn't be more upset with pidge then I was before.
