I'm not even gonna explain why I haven't posted in over 2 months

3 days later 3:45am
You always thought everybody knew you hated being woken up so why is it that someone was daring to call you in the middle of the night. You laid on your side hoping that your phone would eventually stop ringing. You also hoped that the noise wouldn't wake up your sleeping 5 year old that now had his feet on the pillow and his head had somehow ended up underneath the bedcovers.
What if it's Lizzie?
You abruptly sat up and unplugged your phone from the charger. You looked at the contact name and let out a not so amusing sigh. "Riley it's 3am what the fuck could you possibly want-"
"F-fuck y/n I think I'm going into labour?!" Your ex screamed down the line. Your mouth hung open as your brain tried to understand what she had just told you. There's no way she should be going into labor now, she's only a few months along. "Wait are you being serious right now?" You asked as you slowly crept out the bed trying not to wake up your son who was peacefully sleeping.
"Why the fuck would I lie about going into labor, just hurry up and get me! Now please!" She screamed as she hung up the phone. You quickly pulled open a drawer from your dressing table and grabbed a pare of shorts and a hoodie to keep you warm in the disgustingly cold weather in the LA moonlight.
Once you were dressed you walked over to your sleeping son who was now surprisingly blowing a snot bubble in his sleep. You carefully picked him up and held him tightly as his head fell on your shoulders.
One thing about Tristan is he was a heavy sleeper, just like you. You walked out your room and down the stairs as quietly as you could because Adam had decided to crash at your place and he was currently asleep on the couch. He never specified why he wanted to stay over but you guess it was because he was feeling lonely since Aubrey went to New York a few days ago to spend time with Elizabeth.
You shook your head slightly not wanting to continue thinking about the woman who currently had your heart in her hands. You missed her dearly but you soon realised that this break was treating you better than expected. You were able to focus a lot more on work which meant you built a great friendship with both Jesse and Lily on set. They even offered to help plan Tristan's birthday party next week which you were extremely grateful for. You had also been given enough time for yourself. So much so that you even began writing down your feelings throughout the day and you honestly haven't felt happier mentally.
It was as if life was now moving forward....without Lizzie being there.
You shook your head once not even wanting to think of such things and insead focused on putting on Tristan's shoes whilst he slept. Once they were ok you quickly headed out the front door and practically sprinted to your car. You opened the back door and gently placed Tristan in his car seat. "Hmm mama?" You smiled noticing he was just now waking up. Tristan rubbed his eyes and let out quite a loud yawn as he watched you get into the front seat and turn the car on. "Ma where are we going?" He asked with a more white tone than he usually spoke in.
You turned slightly towards him as you reversed out of your parking spot. "Uh well i think your mommy needs some help so I'm going to help her is that okay?" You asked even though you didn't need his approval on something like this you just wanted him to feel included. The boy let out a small "it's fine" as you sped down the road.
Riley didn't live that far away from you so it didn't take long to arrive in front of her house. Just as you pulled up you saw her leaning against the front door clutching her stomach in pure pain. You quickly unbuckled your seatbelt and rushed out the car to your ex wife's side.
