7: Happy Ever Afters Don't Exist

"I don't need your powers Hawk Moth!" The flying ghost rejected Hawk Moth's powers and returned to be the girl she was, Zoe was falling from flying, luckily Luka was right on time to catch her.

"I got you!" Luka said.

"Thank you, Luka. I'm really sorry I didn't tell you before... I was so embarrassed of..." Zoe stopped talking as Luka put her finger on her lips to make her stop talking.

"Shh, it's in the past after all, and that's where it should stay, in the past." Luka explained putting Zoe down on the ground.

"So you're not breaking up with me?" Asked Zoe afraid of the next words Luka would say.

"I'm really sorry if you ever thought I was going to break up with you. That was never my intention. I only needed space for a few minutes." Explained Luka as Zoe kissed him happily to hear those words from him.

"Those minutes were enough for Hawk Moth to akumatize me, I was about to give the... Hold on... Wait a minute... Where is it?!" Zoe panicked.

"Where's what?" Asked Luka confused.

"Oh no, this is bad. This is worse than bad." She started breathing in and out quickly.

"What is it?"

"Did I just lost... A Miraculous?!" Zoe started wondering what to do.

"It's ok, you must have dropped it. Let's look for it." Luka tried to come up with a solution and they started to search for the bee miraculous meanwhile Lila was just across the street.

"Oh la la, what do we have here? Perfetto." Lila smirked seeing the bee miraculous on the floor, she took it and put it inside her pocket as she ran to the hotel to speak to Chloe.

"Ooohhh Chloooeee!" Lila called her when she entered the hotel.

"Hello again there my friend, as I promised, you can meet Raphael today." Chloe said excited about it.

"Where is he?" Lila asked.

"In the bathroom, he won't be long." Replied Chloe.

"Then I'll be quick, I have a present for you." Said Lila.

"I already had a pumpkin spice latte, but if it's another, I'll obviously accept it as well." Chloe said.

"I didn't took you as a pumpkin spice person, but I did took you as a sweet honey Queen Bee and of course, I think this belongs to you." Lila said smirking and giving Chloe the bee miraculous to her.

"Is this a joke? Because if it is, I ain't laughing. Everyone knows that Ladybug is the only one that entrust miraculous to the heroes of Paris." Chloe explained.

"Are you accusing me of robbing? If I were, I wouldn't have even give it to you in the first place and would've used it for my own benefit. Good thing I know that my best friend is Queen Bee, which you're way more suited for the job than me. I'm so scared of Hawk Moth and I couldn't even begin to imagine all of the hard work you and the rest of the heroes put up with everyday an akuma comes out." Lila manipulated Chloe with that sweet voice of hers making her believe she was scared of the villain.

"I'm sorry and thanks for giving this to me. You're a good friend." Chloe said hugging Lila.

"Of course, what are friends for?" Said Lila hugging her back.

"Is this your friend Lila that you wanted me to meet?" Raphael asked Chloe.

"Yes, this is her." Confirmed Chloe.

"It is so nice to finally meet you." Lila said shaking Raphael's hand.

"Pleasure to meet you too Lila." Raphael replied.

"So, Chloe was just telling me she drank a pumpkin spice latte. I assume you were the one that bought it for her?" Lila tried to start a conversation with him.

"Ha! What can I say? Guilty as charged." Said Raphael laughing.

"He's the best." Chloe said smiling at him.

"Chloe, what's that on your hair? A new accessory?" Raphael went to put his hand on the bee miraculous, but Lila interrupted.

"So Raphael, I've heard you play the violin. Is it true?" Lila asked to avoid the other conversation.

"Yeah, I do. In fact, soon I'll go on a tour to play the violin." Raphael told Lila.

"Oh gosh Chloe, are you going with him too? I mean, of course you are. You're a couple after all, and couples must stick together, right?" Lila started to talk without knowing.

"That's actually the day my book will be published, so I can't exactly go with him." Chloe explained.

"Oh no, that's so sad. Chloe won't be there for your tour and Raphael won't be here for when your book is published? That is a tragedy, really. I wouldn't know what to do in your position." Lila tried to start chaos.

"It's simple, really. We have to do what's best for each other, and if we have to wait a couple of days or weeks, it wouldn't matter because when we see each other again, we'll be together again. Well, I have to go, but have fun you two." Raphael smiled and kissed his girlfriend.

"Thanks Raph." Chloe said while he left.

"You know, I've heard of couples like you and Raph that don't see each other for days, weeks even months..." Lila started to force chaos.

"Really? And what happened to them? They lived happily ever after?" Chloe asked enthusiastically.

"No, I wish. Happy ever afters don't exist Chloe. You guys will have ups and downs and this is just the beginning." Lila said disappointed in Chloe.

"Ouch." Said Chloe.

"I'm sorry sweet bee, but better know now than never. You know, I've heard a rumor about him, I don't know if it's true or not, though. Oh forget it, it's just a rumor after all." Lila was preparing her to use her emotions.

"What rumor?" Chloe asked out of curiosity.

"Guys like him, in tours like that... Don't you think other stuff happens?" Asked Lila pretending to be concerned.

"What other stuff happens there?" Asked Chloe.

"Oh you don't know? I didn't want to be the one to tell you this, but since you're my best friend, I have to be completely sincere with you."
