12: Backstage

"Lila?!" Marinette asked in shocked.

"Yeah." Matteo said with a hand on his neck and blushing.

"You mean Lila Rossi? Like you really really like her?" Asked Marinette.

"Yeah, that's the girl." He confessed.

"And there's nothing else you would like to confess?" She asked raising an eyebrow.

"Something like...?" Asked Matteo asked in confusion.

"Oh... I don't know... Just checking... But see you later..." Said Marinette entering the bakery and then her room.

"Well, that was odd. I should return to the hotel now, and why am I talking to myself all alone? Ugh, confessing I like Lila? What's wrong with me?" Matteo put his hands on his face in disbelief of what he just told Marinette.

"For all I know, Lila could know this feeling with the butterfly miraculous. Rare thing that she hasn't attacked me with one of her akumas. Maybe she's still in shocked. I bet she didn't expected me to return the butterfly miraculous, did she?" Matteo raised his eyebrows moving them up and down proud of himself leaving to the hotel to go to bed.

In Lila's room.

"Since I know how you feel about me now, I'll use it into my advantage, my little Tesoro. You and I will do great things together, if only we could get you another miraculous in order for you to work with me, it'll be amazing. Lila said overthinking before going to bed until she fell asleep.

A day passed and no akumas yet on Paris, but Raphael arrived to London for his tour and he finally was in the backstage.

"I can't do this." Raphael told Luka.

"What do you mean you can't do this? You got this, I believe in you and most importantly, Chloe believes in you too." Luka tried calming him down.

"Oh Chloe, I wish she was here." Raphael said.

"I know, but Kagami and Felix are down there. They'll record everything and you can show her later." Said Luka.

"Ok, alright. Thanks Luka. I can do this." Said Raphael.

"Of course you got this! Now give those people the best violin piece they'll hear!" Luka motivated them.

"Ok Raphael, are you ready for this?" A backstage worker girl asked.

"Yes, yes I am." Raphael said nervously and excited at the same time.

"Don't worry, you got this." Luka told him placing one of his hands on Raphael's shoulder.

"Thank you so much Luka, you always know the right words to say." Raphael said about to enter the stage, placing his violin on his shoulder and started to play.

"Kagami, are you seriously going to record everything?" Felix asked annoyed because he wanted to hold Kagami's hand.

"Of course, it's not everyday we see one of our friends chasing their dreams outside of Paris." Kagami said.

"Oh, I wasn't aware he was your friend." Felix smirked.

"Don't be jealous babe, this videos are for Chloe." She affirmed.

"So, when are we going to Japan?" He asked.

"What?" Kagami almost dropped her phone since she was shocked.

"You heard me, when is Japan happening?"

"Why all of the sudden your so interested in going to Japan?" Kagami asked embarrassed.

"Well, I have been showing you London, haven't I?"

"Yes..." She said confused.

"Oh come on, you've seen where I've been mostly my whole life. I want to know about where you've spent most of your life before you came to Paris." He explained.

"Alright, maybe another time. But right know I need to focus on recording this, so Raphael can send it to Chloe later."

"Ok, but after it I'm not letting go of your hand." Felix demanded.

"Sounds like a plan. Now, can you let go of my hand? You can hold it later." Kagami looked at him trying to hold her laugh.

Felix ended playing the violin and went again backstage preparing for his next piece, but there was a little bit of a problem.

"Wait! Seriously dude, you're leaving?" Raphael asked Luka.

"You're doing it great Raph and I really need to go make a phone call. Juleka has been calling me." Luka explained.

"I get it, I hope she's ok." Said Raphael.

"Thank you for understanding." Luka said closing the door in order to not interrupt Raphael's violin playing.

"Well, here goes nothing." Raphael told himself.

"Juleka, calm down. I can't understand anything your saying. What happened?" Luka asked.

"I- I- think I-..." Juleka tried using her words.

"Juleka, deep breaths. In and out, count 'till ten and try telling me again. You think...?" Luka tried to calm her down.

"I think I have feelings for someone." Juleka said.

"What kind of feelings?" Asked Luka.

"Romantic... ones?" Juleka said in embarrassment.

"Awww my little sister has a crush on someone? Finally!" Luka was excited.

"I don't think you'll be thrilled when you hear who it is." She said sadly.

"Why? Is the person a criminal?" Luka said.

"No! Of course not, but I don't think you'll approve." Juleka told him.

"Why not? Because your crushing on a girl?" Luka teased.

"Uhhhh... Wait... What?!" Juleka asked confused.

"Oh for love's sake Juleka, we're twins and we've been together forever. I've seen the way you've looked at Rose. Wait, it is Rose, isn't it?" Luka asked while Juleka took a deep breath.

"Yes, it is her. But how did you know? Please don't tell me it's pretty obvious." Juleka asked self conscious about it.

"Well, I don't think it's obvious for Rose. But you should tell her how you feel." He told his sister.

"I don't know how. What if she doesn't feel the same?" Juleka started to doubt it.

"And what if she does feel the same? You'll never know unless you go for it." Luka tried to comfort her.

"You're right, but I'm scared Luka."

"Ok, how about if you write how you feel about her?" Luka tried to come up with ideas to help.

"I can write it, but then what?"

"You give it to Rose." Said Luka.
