13: Confession

"Are you insane?! Luka... I can't just put words on a paper and remember there will be my feelings written on it, I can't just give it to Rose!" Juleka lost control of her voice on the phone with Luka and went outside of the houseboat to take some air.

"I'm insane? Nah, you really should go for it. And knowing you, you already wrote it and you're holding the piece of paper, letter or a poem in your hands." Said Luka.

"How you know all that?" Juleka started to look around to see if her brother was anywhere near her until she realized that he was in London.

"Don't worry about it, I know because every time you really want to say something, you write it down. Specially when you think the person will disagree with you. I remember when you wanted to use one of my instruments, you just had that index card with you and you really didn't wanted me to read it, but I'm glad I did because that made us bond even more as siblings and we saw we have more things in common."

"So, you really think I should go for it?" She asked.

"Of course, why not? You've been very close friends for a really long time, if she hasn't told you she isn't interested in someone, I guess she's also waiting for you. I've seen how she looks at you." Luka told Juleka.

"Rose looks at everyone that same way, I'm pretty sure." Juleka said.

"Deny it all you want, but give her what you wrote." Luka demanded.

"I can't just give Rose this piece of paper." Juleka screamed.

"What piece of paper?" Rose heard that last part of the conversation.

"Luka, Rose is here, I have to go. Have fun with Raph." Juleka said to Luka.

"Juleka, give her what you wrote." Said Luka and they both hung up the phone.

"Sorry Rose, I was with Luka on the phone." Juleka told her.

"So, what was this piece of paper you were supposed to give me?" Rose asked in a cheerful way.

"Oh, it's nothing." Juleka said with the paper on her hand and hiding it behind her back.

"Oh come on Juleka, you know I know how to keep a secret. Let me see it, please?"

"You can't!"

"Why not?"

"It's not finished."

"Let me see what you got so far." Rose said trying to get the paper.

"No!" Juleka tried her best so Rose couldn't get it.

"Ha! I got it!" Rose said with enthusiasm.

"Oh no." Juleka said grabbing her own face in embarrassment.

"Oh Juleka, this is so adorable. I didn't really knew you felt this way." Rose said.

"I'm sorry Rose, I understand if you don't want to be my friend anymore."

"Well of course, after reading this we shouldn't be friends."

"I ruined everything." Juleka started to cry and went to her room.
