The dragonet watched in horror as the seawing inspected a bloody knife as if it were a shell he'd put on a sand castle. Her eyes flicking between the dead queen, and her animus brother. A part of her felt grateful, Queen Lagoon was rather terrifying in Indigo's eyes. Anything the older seawing said, sent chills down her spine.

A knife dripping with blood. A knife that killed the queen.

The older dragon stared at it like a little toy, something so harmless one minute, that could be deadly. Contrary to Indigo's talons, which were glued to the ground, the SkyWings seemed quite free to do what they wished. The guests flew up with shrieks of fear.

The knife in the animus' talons flew towards the fleeing dragons, slicing through the princess's throat, ripping out the other side and spinning to catch the guard, ripping mercilessly into his chest. Both of them fell from the sky, their blood pooling on the once pristine dance floor, spread by the water from the shattered jellyfish tanks.

That compelled Indigo to move. If anyone was in danger now, it was Fathom, the only dragon who could stop him. If only Fathom were more confident that Albatross had to die. For the only known survivors of the Summer Palace Massacre were her, Fathom, and his sister Pearl. Pearl who nearly died from a thousand cuts came staggering out of the fray, a haunted look in her eyes. Oh and Eagle, the SkyWing guard who lived to berate them on the dangers of magic completely out of their control.

Once Pearl became queen, she proclaimed that animus magic was forbidden in the Kingdom of the Sea. Indigo became a guard, and Fathom began avoiding her and Pearl.

All was orderly, but not in order.

The purple dragonet stood at attention the day Fathom was requested to see the queen. The two of them had quite a rocky relationship, Pearl feared Fathom deep down, and Fathom? Indigo didn't know what to think of the dragonet who used to be her best friend, maybe even lover. He seemed sad, always, and avoided her wherever, and whenever they were near each other.

He was summoned from a letter from the Kingdom of Night. Where apparently they had an animus too. She is still hurt that Fathom turned her down at first, and Pearl was going to let him. But here she was, flying next to her beloved friend. Into whatever danger was to be met.

Whiteout never hated her features, they were what made her, well, her. If that made sense. Father always commented on her odd scales, her way of talking, and the other things she did, though that never madeherlookat him differently. Mother wasn't far from Father, though she loved both her thrice moon-born children, she always seemed to cherish Darkstalker a bit more. Which Whiteout wasn't too concerned over.

Hi gang, or friends, or whatever Astra calls you. This is Cherry speaking.

Did you like the one-shot? It was more of a preview, as I'm trying to convince Astra to let me write something.

You, the readers please help me, it would be the first WOF book book that is written on the account.

See, Astra is usually in control of the account/platform, and I'm kind of the overseer/editor (I don't do very well) I have more control on Ao3.

I'm super excited for the ARG.

The audio chapters too.

Same for the drawings Astra is planning. Our cannon designs.

Girl has so much up her sleeve, and somehow loves drowning herself in work. I could never.

Bye Blossoms! 🩷🩷🩷🩷
