This is a continuation of the first chapter:)

Every one froze, and the harsh glares were directed to Sanemi.

"What?" He asks, ticked off. Giyu had attacked him but he was the one being glared at?

"You know what you did. Not cool." Misturi snaps, walking away with Iguro in tow.

Giyu runs to a familiar meadow, filled with tall waving grass and beautiful wild flowers. It was a very calming place, and Giyu had yet to tell anyone about it.

Tears roll down his face as he hugs his knees to his chest, sobbing over everything that had happened already.

"I'm going to quit!" He mumbles to himself, making the rash decision. He claps and his crow flies down to him, landing on his arm.

"I need you to inform Master that I'm quitting the corps, can you do that?" Giyu tells his crow, who nods and flies off.

Giyu walks to his estate, and goes in only to change and collect his belongings.

Leaving, he walks to Mount. Sigiri, where Urokodaki lives. Maybe he could stay with him.

Night falls, and Giyu treats it like final selection, killing demons and heading forward still.

After a few days of walking, Giyu makes it up the familiar mountain and sees Urokodaki in his cloud haori, carrying vegetables.

"Let me help you." Giyu comes up behind him, taking some vegetables from Urokodakis hands.

"Giyu?" Urokodaki asks, looking at his former student. Why was he here?

"I quit the corps. I'm no longer the Water Pillar." Giyu responds to Urokodakis silence.

"Why would you quit?" Urokodaki questions, being a Hashira was a big goal of many young slayers.

"I got tired of the constant bulling. Then the other day, the Wind Pillar burnt my haori, which was the last thing I had to remember Sabito." Giyu explains, staring at the ground as the two walk.

"Your welcome to stay with me again, and I'll keep you in tip-top strength if you ever want to join the corps again." Urokodaki says, and Giyu nods.

The two make it back to Urokodakis home, and Giyu is hit with a wave of nostalgia.

Memories of him and Sabito running around, chasing each other with the wooden swords used for practice.

Shaking his head, he walks in and sees Urokodaki unrolling a futon and putting it in a room.

"Thanks for letting me stay here." Giyu bows, and Urokodaki bonks him on the head.

"Your always welcome here!" Urokodaki shouts, and Giyu smiles, standing up straight.
