The universe is vast. Yet within it, there is one planet quite unlike any other.

Earth.

Among petty feuds, world wars, silly conflicts, and unnecessary disputes, lay a network of witches and wizards unmatched with extensive history and lore. And, on one fateful day known as the thirty-first of December, 1926, a baby boy was fated to be born and would change the destiny of that wizarding world forever.

The day before, the moon had looked down upon that world and decided to help. So she called upon the stars beyond to make a decision.

"Why have you called us here today, Lady Selene?" Lady Asteria had asked.

"There is a child fated to be born tomorrow. He will change the fate of the wizarding humans on Earth. I have called this meeting to make a decision," came the reply.

"Why should we be bothered to help? Even if we do decide to help, what would we do?" asked Lord Astraeus, brother of Lady Asteria.

"I propose we send a girl down. She will be more powerful than him, and will not fall for his charm. She will have the power of the heavens within her and will be destined to change his fate," said Lady Selene, making her way over towards the siblings. She summoned a small piece of her celestial core and molded it into the shape of a girl.

"This is our savior. I gift her the power of persuasion over others and an impenetrable mind for those who dare attempt to breach it," started Lady Selene.

"I name her Delaney Vittoria, and gift her the power of undeniable beauty, control over her emotions, and a flawless mask for when she must hide her true nature," said Lady Asteria, smiling fondly.

"I give her the title of Princess and Heiress Delaney Vittoria Romanov, as well as a powerful magical core and effortless flawlessness in all magical fields," grinned Lord Astraeus.

"I give her the ability to know her friends from her enemies, a powerful mind with which to choose her path wisely, and a presence that demands the respect and admiration of anyone she meets," added Lady Zorya quietly.

"And I give her the gift of necromancy and the power to control it along with her other powers that come with her unique magical core," finished Lady Nyx, smiling at the shape of the girl that Lady Selene had formed.

With this, the Lords and Ladies of the moon and stars then imbued the girl with the qualities they had stated. The girl was sent down to Earth the following day, in the form of an infant born to Queen Vittoria Elinor Romanov moments after a young Tom Marvolo Riddle had been born to and abandoned by Merope Gaunt.

This is the story of a girl favored by the moon and admired by the stars.
