NINE, rings

To my Dearest,

I thought I almost lost my engagement ring today.

I was cooking soup today since the weather has been awfully cold today, I think I caught a fever, but no worries! I am feeling much better now.

Anyway, I was cooking so I placed the engagement ring on the counter near the sink. After cleaning up and eating the soup, I realized that the ring was nowhere to be seen. My worst fear was that it was swept away into the sink without me realizing it since the ring blended in with the counter.

I searched the whole night that day, it was so difficult to sleep. And I know what you would say, 'Don't worry, we don't need a ring to show our love.' But still, I could not help myself, especially when your side of the bed is so cold.

I somehow slept that night, then, the following day, I found it under the counter- I ended up crying after that. I think I have been holding back so many emotions, so, I am grateful to have cried. I feel much much better now.

I anticipate the day when I can call you my husband, Y/N Yang does have a ring to it after all.
