Chapter 4

When we got to the pavilion, I sat at the Hermes table because I'm still undetermined. When I was getting food, it all looked delicious. I took one two slices of pizza and a chicken leg, the chicken leg smelled good. When I sat down at the table and was going to dig in (literally dig in) my food, people started staring at me.

"Here we have to go up and give a portion of our food." a guy said

"oh, sorry I didn't know but anyways thanks." I answered standing up.

"Your welcome, I'm Mark Smith son of Apollo by the way and your?" he asked as he reached out his hand.

"I'm Merlia Oceana Waters." I said shaking his hand and followed him.

When it was my turn, I scrapped half of my food; it smelled like chocolate chip cookies, mumbling

"To whoever you are” and went back to our table.

While I was eating, I was thinking so intently, that I hadn't noticed someone snuck up behind me. . 

"RAAAWWRRR!" 

"AHHHHHH!!!!" I screamed as I jumped out of my seat resulting me falling on the ground while everybody started laughing but stopped. I hit my head so hard, I felt dizzy.

"Ouch" I said rubbing my head while squinting my eyes to look at the two guys in front of me.

"Ah, sorry we didn't think we'd scare you that much. Here." the boy held out his hand to help me up.

"Uh, thanks." I said taking his hand.

"I'm Connor and this is Travis my twin." he said. 

"I'm Merlia, I'm undetermined."

"Ah, so you would be staying in our cabin for a while until---------"I cut him off.

"Until my godly parent claims me, I know, I know." I said standing up and walking towards the Hermes cabin. When I got there, I didn't know that Travis followed me.

"Hey!" he said walking up to me.

"So is this my space." I said pointing over at the empty spot.

"Yeah, hey do you want to go to the beach?" he asked.

"Sure." I answered following him out of the cabin. When we got there, we saw two people, it was Aly and Max. I run too them panting and said

"Hey guys, can Travis and I join you, three?" I asked them.

"Yeah sure." Aly said.

"Thanks guys!" I said dragging Travis over to their spot.

"So, who is this Aly, is he your boyfriend?" I asked Aly while looking at the guy.

"Yeah, this is Matt" she said looking at the Matt.

"Oh, nice to meet you, I'm Merlia" I said. We sat there at silence looking at the marvelous ocean. At last Max broke the silence.

"Merlia, are you dating Travis now?" she asked me. My face felt hot, I was blushing dark red now.

"Well, no." I said looking at Travis now, who was blushing too.

"Oh, um…. Do you have your own weapon?" she asked me. I stopped blushing and answered her question

"Yes I do."

"Where is it?" she said looking intently at me. I took the trident designed hair clip.

"Here it is." Giving to her and she started laughing.

"What?!" I said outraged.

"This is a hair clip!"  She said still laughing soon all of them were laughing. I took the hair clip and pressed the trident and it turned into three foot long sword.

"SEE!" I shouted angry while running towards the water and finally dived in.

"MERLIA!" I heard the four of them shout.
