Chapter 10- I became a goddess

Chapter ten- I became a goddess.

Clio/Merlia's POV

When we arrived at the Empire State Building, we ran inside the lobby and straight to the elevator.

"Guys we forgot the key." Percy said

"Oh yeah, I'll go get it." I said

"I'll come with." Annabeth said. When we got to the desk we asked the guy to give us the key but he just keeps on protesting until I said.

"What if I zap you out of here." He looked at me with a death glare. "

And who do you think you are!" he protested.

"I am the goddess of courage and hope." I answered.

"Stop fighting." Annabeth interrupted pushing both of us away from each other.

"I'm sorry, I'm just a bit angry today." I explained

"Oh it’s okay, here take the key." He said

"Thank you so much." Annabeth said.

We both run to the elevator, we put the key and pressed the 600th floor button. In one second we were on Mt. Olympus. We all ran towards "the house of the gods" and barged inside.

"You demigods cannot barge in like that!" Zeus shouted.

"We are deeply sorry Lord Zeus." Travis said. We all bowed down to the gods and stood up. "What do you demigods need?" Zeus asked nicely.

"We have a problem." Aly answered

"And what is that?" Poseidon interrupted.

"Me." I said stepping in front of them. They were all speechless when they saw me.

"A godling, how did this happen?" Athena said breaking the silence.

"It’s because of all your blessings, I started shaking and crying colorful tears when I sleep." I answered.

"I see." Athena staring intently at me.

"How can we change her back?" Anna asked.

"We can't." Zeus answered.

"What! This can't be possible; I don't want to be immortal!" I protested and ran outside. I cried going to the elevator and went back to camp.

Percy's POV

"Clio wait!" I shouted and tried to catch up with her but she was fast. I went back to my friends and listened to Zeus.

"We are deeply sorry but we cannot do anything." Poseidon said with a sad expression. "Actually we can." Hestia said walking towards us

"How?" Max asked.

"I cannot tell you." She answered

"Why?" Travis asked determined to know the answer.

"You must go on a quest to change her back." She explained

"Let's go tell Chiron about this." Annabeth said

"Thank you Hestia." We thanked her.

We thanked the gods too and left. When we got back to camp, we heard someone screaming. I ran towards the screaming, it was my sister Clio.

"Why are you screaming Clio?" I asked sitting beside her.

"MY ARM IS BURNING!" she screamed

"There is no fire or anything on your arm." I said. And then I saw a big scar on her back reaching her arm, it had poison all over it.

"Who did this to you?" I asked carrying her.

"Lu------" she managed to choke out because she collapsed.

"Don't worry we'll find the person who did this to you." I said.

I went to the infirmary still carrying Clio; I laid her down on one of the beds and looked for ambrosia and nectar.

"What happened to her?" Thalia asked

"Poison, a lot of poison." I answered

"Let me help." Thalia offered

"Sure, I need a lot of help." I said. She took a look at the injury.

"This is no ordinary injury Percy she can die." She said getting a paper and ball pen.

"Can we heal her?" I asked worried

"Yes we can but we need this." She said pointing at some ingredients she has listed down. "We can only get this at one place." I looked at the list; I did not understand where they all were found.

"Where?" I asked

"The underworld." Thalia answered.

"I'll tell Nico, you do whatever you can to heal her." I ordered

"Will do." She said. I ran towards the Hades cabin and knocked on the door.

"Percy what's up?" Nico said giving me a pat on the back.

"We need your help!" I said dragging him to the infirmary.

"What do you need?" he asked.

"This!" Thalia said giving him the list.

"Oh okay, Clio was poisoned?" he asked again.

"Yeah, now go get those ingredients! Thalia said giving him a death glare.

"Okay okay, I'll go get my sister." He said

"Your sister?" I asked

"Yeah my sister Melody." He answered

"Just go." Thalia said. Nico ran outside going to his cabin.

"We just need to look after her for tonight." Thalia continued checking her back.

"Okay I'll sleep her for tonight." I suggested. I sat on the chair and fell asleep.
