Chapter 19- The seasonal keys

Clio's POV

For a person who thought they were dead and suddenly woke up would say

"Am I still alive?" Or maybe "Am I in the underworld?" but I have a different question "Where am I?" I say. I stood up and rubbed my eyes. My vision became clear; we were still in this barren wasteland where I passed out.

"You okay?" Someone asked. I turned around to see Theseus. I was too stunned to say something but five words escaped my mouth.

"I thought you were dead?" I said while running towards him but when I was about to hug him, I just fell to the solid ground.

"Well I am." He said. I was trying to keep myself together but I can't help it.

"Who are you?!" I exclaimed.

"A friend of yours." He said. Then the figure change into someone I really wanted to kill.

Luke.

"What do you want?" I said. Anger was filling my whole body.

"For you to suffer!" he said his eyes changing from sky blue to blood red.

"I won't let you because I have strength and courage unlike you." I hissed back.

"I have plenty of courage and strength but you, you fall when you see your precious Theseus." He said 

He was right I was a coward and I would fall when I see Theseus. Maybe I would lose in battle. I thought I had courage and strength but they were long gone. And then I remembered Annabeth, Our lost best friend, we have to find her.

"Where is Annabeth?" I asked.

"Annabeth, What do you mean?" He asked

"We know you kidnapped her." I said through clenched teeth

"You mean her." He said pointing to a figure to his right.

I looked at the figure more seriously and saw that it was Annabeth but there was something different about her. She had red eyes and dark red hair too but it was her face.

"What have you done to her?" I asked with anger.

"I have not done anything but asked her if she wanted to join me."  He said with a dark chuckle.

"LIAR!" I shouted

"Well I'll see you and your precious friend on the battlefield." He said while disappearing.

"Wake up! Wake up!" I heard a voice 

Was I a sleep after all or was I awake. I needed to defeat Luke and save Annabeth so that this war would end because I am tired of getting hurt and just saying that I'm alright. I'm just so sick and tired of saying it. I just want to be an ordinary girl and I can't because I'll never be one. I just need to accept that fact.

"Wake up!" The voice shouted again

I opened my eyes to see to green eyes staring down at me.

Percy.

I sat up and hugged him tight and just cried my eyes out on his shoulders.

"It'll be okay." He comforted.

"No it won't and it'll never be." I said

"You should always have faith and hope too." Thalia said coming into view.

"I don't know if I still have them." I said while letting go of Percy.

"You still have in there." She said while pointing the side of my chest where my heart is. I thought about it. What happened to me; I became a monster, a terrible friend and a coward. I hugged Thalia tight.

"Help me get them back." I begged

"We all will." Aly said hugging me too.

"Thanks." I said

"That's what friends are for." Max said

"What were you crying about when you were unconscious?" Grover and Nico asked at the same time.

So I told them my dream about Luke but left the part out about Theseus.

"We need to find him fast or else….. I don't know" Melody said. Then suddenly a bright light emerged.

"What was that about?"  Nico asked.

"Let's just go." Aly suggested

"Good idea." Max said.

We packed our stuff and started walking again. After hours of walking we found this weird pyramid; we had the urge to go inside it. So we did. When we got inside it was chilly. A bright light flashed. A figure emerged out of nowhere. It was a young lady about 16 she had long white hair, her skin was light blue and snow was surrounding her.

"Who are you?" Thalia asked.

"I am Chione, goddess of snow." She answered

"I never knew a goddess of snow." Anna said with an amazed face.

"I have come to give you this." She said while four keys magically appeared. They were seasonal keys.

"What are we going to do with this?" I asked

"Four of you would be using these keys to stop evil." She answered

"But be very careful." She continued

"Who four of us would get these keys?" Max asked with curiosity.

"The keys themselves would know on the right time." And with that last statement Chione disappeared.

I put the keys in my pocket.

"Who do you think?" Grover asked

"Think what?" Nico asked

"Would get those keys?" Grover said

"I don't know." Nico answered. When we entered a door in the pyramid we heard a scream. "What was that or better yet who was that?" Anna said.

"NO! Not a mummy." Melody said while hiding behind Nico

"There are no mummies here." Percy said.

Then there was another scream. We followed it and found ourselves in front of Luke's whole army.
