Sato the Godlike Immortal

Chapter 1 - Coming Home

Sato had recently returned from Alphadyne Area 2 Sector 4 to Alphadyne Area 6 Sector 4. The 27-hour flight had made him lazy, but as soon as he got off the plane, his home country's all too familiar scent hit him. He has returned home. Walking towards the arrival hall at the A6St4's second airport, he pulled out his phone and called his parents to inform them of his arrival. Before walking away, he gave the aeroplane one last look as he reminisced about his time at Area 2 Section 4. Although he was only there for five years, the experiences that he went through will be an unforgotten one. 

As he walked out towards the arrival hall, he was greeted with a hug from his parents. A short walk to their car, they were off back to their home. Along the drive back, he made a phone call to his cousin Remi. She was excited to have him home, albeit sad that he had to leave Area 2 Section 4. They talked on the phone for a while before saying their goodbyes for the time being. Sato was happy; he had missed feeling at home and surrounding himself with the people he knew. 

When he arrived at his home in Section 45, his pet Ditto was so excited that it ran towards him and hugged him. He was smothered in saliva after that. He took a long shower before taking a long nap, as the long flight time made him overly tired. Later that evening, while having dinner with his family, he thought, why doesn't his family use their powers in the open? It turns out that everyone around them chooses not to use their powers, as some are non-powered among them. Non-powered people tend to show slight signs of jealousy towards powered people. Sato's family, however, possesses the most potent powers that haven't been seen or recorded in a very long time. His dad has the ability known as the "Law of Repulsion", while his mom has the ability known as the "Law of Attraction", and Sato is born with both. 

The "Law of Repulsion" allows the user to push anything away. While the power might seem as simple as just pushing things away, users who can use the "Law of Repulsion" have been seen to augment their abilities to transcend them into higher forms. On the other hand, the "Law of Attraction" is the complete opposite, whereby the user can pull anything towards them or a certain point. Augmenting abilities enhance their base abilities. Sato's father's augmented repulsion allows him to create a point of repulsion whereby the point will emit a strong push force in any direction. Aside from that, Sato's father can also generate a push force that expands and travels as wide and as far as 100km. His mother's augmented attraction allowed her to designate a point whereby everything within a set radius gets pulled towards it. She also can create a small orb that attracts and pulls everything around it towards it with an unlimited radius. If his parents were to combine their abilities, they could potentially destroy an entire planet. 

Sato is born with both abilities, so he is considered unique among the powered users. This allows Sato to enter God's state for a short period, where during the state, he does not lose mana and constantly heals and enhances all abilities for that short period. He can't maintain God's state for long, as it strains him physically and mentally. 

The next day, Sato informed his parents that he wished to set out on an adventure, from finding work to living by himself. His parents agreed on the condition that he return every once in a while. He went to his room to pack whatever he needed. By late afternoon, he set off on his adventure. He said goodbye to his parents and pet and left on his portable jet stream. Coming home from another land has prompted him to restart his life. With that, Sato's adventurous journey begins.
