Roxto x Y/n- You remembered? (Birthday series.)

"Roxto?" I call, "where did you go? Come on this is not funny."

I thought Roxto, despite being my best friend, would be the one person to maybe just maybe remember my birthday. But clearly I was wrong. I spent all day with him hoping he'd remember but I was at lost it was already late at night and still no 'happy birthday' from a single Navi.

"Roxto? Come out please it's not funny anymore."

I kept calling for him but no use. I almost gave up till I came to the other side of the island forest to see Roxto smiling holding presents.

"SURPRISE!" He yells.

I couldn't help but cry, someone Rémy Eeee my birthday.

"You remembered?"

"Of course I did Y/n. You are my best friends, remember everything."

I stand there and smile. This birthday has taken a turn for the good.

"Now come on, open your gifts," he says sitting down in the cool dry sand.

I sit down and look at the gifts. It was obvious he wrapped them. The wrapping paper was wrinkled and the tape was everywhere. I couldn't help but giggle a little.

"Are you laughing at my wrapping job?" he asks.

"No not at all!" I say laughing.

"I think it looks almost as good as your gifts."

I quickly unwrap Roxtos first gift revealing a bracelet with beads and shells.

"You made this? For me?"

"Yes, silly. Now hurry up and open the big gifts. Save the small one for last."

"Okay okay!"

I take a look at the gifts and notice two of them are pretty heavy and large while the other is as light as a feather.

I unwrap the first larger one to reveal a new medical herb book.

"Oh Roxto this is perfect."

"I saw how much you like your moms. I thought I'd get you your own book."

I give him a big hug before opening the next one revealing a watercolor paint set under the poor wrapping job.

"Where did you find one?" I ask in utter shock.

"I made it." He says.

"Oh Roxto I love you."

"I love you too Y/n now open your last one." He says with a nervous tone.

I open it slowly not knowing what inside. When I finally got it open I saw a letter.

   Dear Y/n,
       I've been wanting to tell you this since the moment you saved me two summers ago. Y/n I am so in love with you. I thought telling you today was a good choice until now. I'm worried you'll say no or stand me up. But if your heart is open to change I would love for you to mine Y/n.

"Oh Roxto, yes I will he yours." I say getting emotional.

"Thank Eywa I was so nervous. I wanted to tell you in the best way possible. And I knew if I tried to tell you in person I would chicken out."

"It's okay I understand love I would have a hard adimfing feeling for you but I sorta just did." I say leaning in for a kiss.
