In this AU rather than getting OFA Izuku just developed his quirk very late when he went through a quirk accident. Instead, All Might found a successor while on a trip out of the country so now someplace else is dealing with Shiggy and the league💀🖐🏾

So in this, UA is just a regular hero "boarding" school and they all living regular student lives lmao

Izuku made his way to the lounge where the rest of the class was and sat down criss cross as Shoto made space for him. The class was having one of their "pack" nights despite them not all being in a pack together. Though Izuku should have a pack he doesn't, his mom had a pack bond with Katsuki, and his parents.

But Izuku wasn't a part of that, he told them that he just couldn't form the bond no matter how hard he tried. And so that he wouldn't feel like a defect or rejected they always made an effort to show him that they considered him a part of the pack. At least that's how they presented it, in truth the way they saw it Izuku belonged to the pack. Izuku wanted to get away from them and lied about it, he refused to let them control him like a doll. Besides Katsuki made it very clear that he did not want Izuku in his pack so why join them.

Katsuki's constant rejection and hostility towards him made Izuku, from a young age, understand that he was not wanted. Clearly, he was a bad Omega for everyone to turn their backs on him the way that they did, he was a reject and always has been. It was only recently that Izuku began realizing he was not the problem. But that didn't mean that made his issues go away, his insecurities and fears were far from gone. His trauma now made Izuku a frequent self-sabotager, always pulling away from people once they started getting too close.

He thinks that if he leaves first then they won't have a chance to abandon him and he can avoid being hurt. He doesn't want to form a bond because he knows that once they break it it'll be too painful and he was scared to feel that pain.

However this doesn't work on Shoto, no matter how much he pulls away Shoto doesn't let him get far. Whether Izuku likes it or not he and Shoto are best friends and he can't get rid of him. Izuku felt someone gently nudge him out of his thoughts and turned to see Shoto looking down at him.

"You ok?" Shoto asked, his ears drooping.

Shoto was one of those people who was always shifted if he was allowed to be. He was a wolf hybrid and really did act like one. The only time he had his features hidden was if he was somewhere he couldn't be shifted. Most people think it's inappropriate to show your features to anyone outside of your pack or family. But Shoto didn't care about things like that, it was more comfortable when shifted so fuck how anyone else feels about it.

Izuku smiled and nodded, "Mhm,"

"Stop thinking so much," Shoto smiled a little.

He rested his tail on Izuku's lap knowing the Omega likes to hold it because it calms him but would never outright ask him because of his anxiety. He turned back to the others as Izuku smiled a little and gently hugged his tail, it twitched slightly since it wasn't able to wag at the moment.

"So what are we doing this time?" Eijiro asked.

"Let's play a game, we can pass around a pillow, and whoever catches it gets to ask the group something, and you have to answer the question unless it's something too much to answer," Hagakure suggested.

"That sounds fun,"

"Is everyone playing?" Uraraka asked and everyone nodded.

"Ok this first time we're just gonna toss it in the air and whoever catches it can go. After that, you'll just toss it to someone, does that make sense?" Hagakure asked.
