Denki sat in his nest with Izuku, whose head was lying in his lap, the Omega purring lowly as Denki scratched his head. Denki was curious as to what hybrid Izuku was, no one knew since he'd never shown, anyone. He's admitted that he'd only reveal it to those who are in his pack as he needs a deep bond with someone to show that side of himself.
Even Katsuki, who's known Izuku since they were babies, didn't know. He's said that Izuku's mother is a bunny hybrid but Izuku's father, who's never even shown his hybrid side to Inko, was something completely different.
He felt Inko, who let Mitsuki influence and control her too much, would take advantage of such information. So the only one he told was Izuku, telling him that if he does manifest as his hybrid to only show those he loves and trusts. Hisashi, who unfortunately passed away a year before Izuku manifested his hybrid, made sure he taught the Omega many things.
Unlike his relationship with Inko Izuku actually loved his sire dearly, other than Masaru Izuku felt he was the only one who truly loved him. When he was around Inko never tried such things knowing her husband wouldn't tolerate her treating Izuku like property.
Hisashi always made sure Izuku knew that no one can choose anything for him and that he was his own person. Izuku took all of Hisashi's teachings to heart, as a Prime Omega he was meant to be stronger than other Omegas. He always heard that it was wrong for Omegas to be anything but small, submissive, and meek.
However, his father told him not to be ashamed of his dominance and to embrace it. He told him to demand respect and never let anyone, Alpha included, treat him as less than or give him less than he deserves. Denki sent Shoto a text, telling him to come to his dorm as soon as he returned when there was a knock on his door. He carefully got up and replaced himself in Izuku's arms with his pillow, Izuku just took in the male's scent.
Denki opened the door to see Aizawa, "Sensei?"
Izuku sniffed and rolled over still hugging the pillow when he slowly sat up and tilted his head sniffing the air more. He began to crawl over to where Denki was, pillow now discarded in the nest.
Aizawa sighed, "A few people are saying that something is wrong with Izuku, and you are refusing to let anyone help him,"
"That's not what-"
Izuku suddenly squeezed under Denki's arm, his body crashing into Aizawa's as he hugged him tightly. Aizawa quickly caught his balance after Izuku nearly knocked him over and hugged the Omega back.
"Izuku? What's wrong?" Aizawa asked.
"He's not gonna answer," Denki told him.
Izuku just looked up at the man, still hugging his waist as he slowly blinked up at him. Denki was sure if Izuku was shifted his tail would be wagging right now. Again he'd think Izuku's behavior was cute under any other circumstances. Aizawa made a face and gently grabbed Izuku's face to hold it still and leaned down to look at his eyes closer.
"Ok, you need to tell me what happened," Aizawa told him.
Denki opened his door wider so the man could come in with Izuku, he closed his door behind them and grabbed his comfort blanket it. Izuku tried to pulled Aizawa to the nest and the man turned to Denki who took a seat.
"You can enter just take off your slippers first, please," Denki told him.
Aizawa nodded and took them off then stepped into the nest, taking a seat by Izuku, the Omega climbing into his lap. Aizawa securely held Izuku who held onto him tightly, grabbing his wrist and holding it to his face as he cuddled into the man's hold.
"Why didn't you tell me he was like this?" Aizawa asked.
"I wasn't trying to hide it or anything I just- I don't know why he's like this either ok? He came to me last night and Distress was thick on him, it was starting to fade but it was clear it had happened not long ago. He was on the verge of going into distress again and it was so bad he could hardly speak, all I could make out was that he asked me for help and to stay in my nest.
So I let him in and we laid in my nest and we fell asleep, he didn't say anything else. I woke up first and waited for him in case he wanted to talk about what was going on but when he finally woke up he was like this. I don't know what happened so I don't know what could trigger him, that's why I didn't let anyone know. All I know is that he was in trouble and he felt safest with me so I tried to make sure he was still safe," Denki confessed.
Aizawa took it in and looked down at a sleeping Izuku, Denki handed him the blanket. He said a small thank you and wrapped Izuku up in the blanket.
"I understand, you did what you felt was best for him. I'm gonna talk to Chiyo and see if there's anything we can do for him, in the meantime, if you're alright with it keep doing what you're doing. I think it's best if he's stable before we take him to recovery girl," Aizawa told him.
Denki nodded, "I think he needs an Alpha most right now, this is the first time he's done anything on his own. Usually, he's like a shell, just sitting or lying there blankly, not even moving unless I say something to him. But Shoto is the only Alpha he's close with so I have to wait until he's back to explain it.
Also, I may be wrong, but I think Katsuki will know what's wrong. Izu's not even supposed to be here, he's supposed to be with Kat and their parents but he showed up at my door in distress. Maybe whatever caused his distress happened when he went home?"
"I'll look into it, thank you for letting me know," Aizawa gently moved Izuku to the pillows.
"Ok, I'll let you know if anything changes," Denki smiled a bit.

Denki opened his door for Shoto, "You needed to talk to me?"
Denki grabbed his wrist and gently pulled him into his room, locking his door behind him. Shoto immediately saw Izuku curled up in his nest and turned back to Denki.
"What happened?" He asked quickly.
"I don't know, he showed up at my door last night smelling like distress. I don't know what's wrong with him but I think you can help him, you're the closest to him," Denki explained.
"And he came back alone?"
"Mhm, Kats isn't back yet," Denki confirmed.
Shoto growled slightly but kept his emotions in check around the two, he moved closer to Izuku but stopped and turned to Denki.
"You can, just take off your slippers," Denki told him.
Shoto did as told and stepped into the nest and Izuku immediately woke up upon feeling him, he keened and quickly latched onto Shoto.
He lowered himself and held Izuku close to him, "I'm here,"
Izuku hugged his neck and whined a little as he picked at the Alpha's scent patch, trying to smell him. Shoto looked at Denki who gave him permission before starting to clean up his room with a small pout. Looking after Izuku was a good excuse to neglect it but now that he had other people in his room he decided to make it look decent at least.
"Do you mind if my scent gets on your nest?" Shoto asked.
"Nope, I like having lots of scents," Denki smiled.
Shoto peeled off his scent patch and released his scent in thick waves making Izuku immediately go lax in his hold. The Alpha held his face as his eyes slowly started to shift as the Omega finally felt safe and protected. Shoto cradled Izuku in his arms as he scented him and crooned to comfort the Omega and ease his mind. Denki came over, sitting in his nest with them but also giving them space not wanting to disrupt anything.
"It looks like it's working, thank the gods," Denki smiled a little.
"S-sho..." Izuku cries lowly.
"You're ok," Shoto said softly, gently rubbing his face against Izuku's.
Denki smiled and leaned forward, brushing some hair from his face, "Welcome back,"
Izuku tightly hugs Shoto's neck as he cries and Denki gently rubs his back as they both quietly comfort him.
