"You know it's obvious" Theresa said while walking with you. "if I knew it was obvious, then you wouldn't be telling me" you replied earning an eyeroll from her. "besides, I kinda always thought you and Thomas were a thing" you shrugged walking back to the gates and pulling down more vines, Theresa following quickly behind you to keep up. "no, he is more like a brother to me, but I mean newt is..." She trailed off. "ohhh so you and newt huh?" You smirked. "shut up, can't blame me" now it was your turn to roll your eyes.

"Y/n! Theresa!!" Chuck yelled running over to you guys. "Minho told me to help you guys out"
"We can finish our talk later" Theresa told you before starting to cut some vines herself.
"What talk?" Chuck asked. "about you and Thomas?" He smiled. "oh my gosh. no!! We are just friends, I don't have time to think about who I am attracted to"
"Well, if your the last one, we always need to reproduce" Theresa smiled. "you make me sick, you know that right?" You grabbed your basket full of cut vines and started back toward the homestead.
"Hey y/n, Thomas and I need you for a meeting, alright?" Newt asked taking your basket. "um, okay?"
"I'll take this to clint, you head over to the north wall okay?"
"Okayyy" you said, unsure. "It's no big deal, we just have a few questions for you" he tried to reassured you, but you were still skeptical, they never wanted to "meet" with you alone.

"Hey y/n, what's up?" Thomas asked leaning against the wall eating an apple. "newt said you wanted to talk?"
"Ya, so I overheard you and Theresa.."
"Oh?"
"Ya, um, I just wanted to make sure that you that we are, just friends, nothing else"
"Ya I totally know"
"Ya"
"Things are going to be awkward now right" dang you Theresa.
"I hope not"
"You know I don't think of you that way"
"Just wanted to make sure"
"Okay"
"Well I'll let you get back to your stuff"
"Ya okay see ya around" you said not letting him reply. maybe you didn't have a crush on him, but you did like your friendship.

"Okay, that's not how you handle a crush my friend." newt told Thomas. "you were supposed to tell her"
"I'd rather you do it"
"Well, if she had a crush on you you totally blew it by telling her to basically stop"
"Can you just tell her"
"No"
C'mon newt"
"You don't even have to tell her, just kiss her or something"
Thomas rolled his eyes
"Fine, but later"
