Oliver's POV
"You know I love you," I looked at Izzy. "I just found your letter you left me."
"The one I left for you when I ran off with Davis?" Izzy asked. I nodded. "I thought you would've found that a long time ago."
"Well, I didn't," I stated. "I didn't know you felt so strongly about me."
"I did, and I still do, but I am a lot more mature now," Izzy stated. "I loved you and I wrote that hoping you would've saved me." I nodded. "But you never did. So, over time, I let myself fall in love with Davis."
"Alright, I'm here for baby duty," Chloe walked in.
"Are you sure you don't wanna take her to the conference?" I asked.
"Amzie and I will plug in right here," Chloe smiled.
"There's a car waiting for you," I smiled.
"Thanks," Izzy nodded. "I'll see you there."
"Okay," I replied. Izzy left. "Do you need anything?"
"I'm good, Oliver," Chloe stated. "I can handle a night with your daughter. Go support Izzy." I smiled. "Hopefully she gets us the recognition we deserve."
"I'm sure she will," I smiled. I went to the conference and it was set up as a debate. "Oh no."
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen, Lex Luthor versus Isabella Davis," the guy stated. Izzy stood at her podium and Lex at his. "Isabella, you are the first to answer every question."
"Thank you," Izzy replied. The question showed on the screen. "This is going to be interesting."
"Izzy, who is your hero?" Lex asked. "Not that you have any family around."
"I could say the same about you, Mr. Luthor," Izzy stated. "You're one to talk as you don't have family around either, but you forget that I have a brother." Lex was confused. "My brother also has some amazing friends. They are my heroes."
"I am my own hero," Lex replied. The question changed. "I'm my own funder. I get donations every now and then, but I fund most of my campaign."
"A lot of people have made a lot of generous donations since I started running, but my #1 donator is Oliver Queen," Izzy replied. People cheered. "He has made a lot of thing happen alongside my campaign manager, Lois Lane-Kent."
"He's probably only donating because you're sleeping with him," Lex stated, trying to get under Izzy's skin. "Why else would a playboy billionaire be your #1 contribution?"
"He's my boss, and I did not sleep with Mr. Queen," Izzy nodded. She looked at me, but I nodded, not wanting her to expose us. "But we are the best of friends."
"Lies," Lex stated.
"You don't wanna speak about lies, Mr. Luthor?" Izzy asked. "Okay, how about telling the truth for once?"
"Okay," I sighed. I made my way backstage. I stood next to Lois. "How far are we letting this go?"
"We?" Lois asked. "I thought this was a press conference, not a roasting debate."
"What could I possibly be hiding?" Lex asked.
"A week ago, you asked me if I could give you an heir," Izzy stated. "When I told you no, you slapped me." People gasped. "To the people of Metropolis, do you really want a man who thinks they could put their hand on a woman? I don't think so. I will fight for our rights as women to be equal because we can do what men can do too."
"That's my girl," Lois smiled.
"Don't women already have equal rights?" I asked.
"Maybe, but we're still belittled by it," Lois shrugged.
