Oliver's POV

I had left a dress on Izzy's bed for her for the gala, tonight. I went to Watch Tower and checked my emails. "Hey, Chloe," I stated as I walked in.

"Oliver," Chloe smiled. "I wasn't expecting to see you at all today. Everything alright?"

"Yeah," I nodded. "I was going to see if Izzy wanted to have lunch today, but I think she's at the office until she has to get home to get ready for the gala." I finished my emails. "That is if she even plans on going."

"I'm sure she won't leave you in the dark," Chloe stated. "But are you sure not telling her that AC will be there is such a good idea?"

"She's gotta face her brother sooner or later," I replied. "I don't want her going through life and regretting that she didn't make things right with him."

"Again, he did kill her husband," Chloe stated.

"Davis meant to knock him out with the metal pipe," I defended. "He may have been a good human to save, but he needed to get his personality and attitude in check." She looked at me. "If he wasn't so jealous, maybe he would still be alive." I was at the LexCorp plaza, with the gala starting. Almost an hour had passed, and Izzy still hadn't showed up. "Come on."

"Where is our superstar on our board?" Lex asked. "I thought the employees on our board are supposed to be punctual." I saw Izzy walked in, wearing the dress I chose for her. "Maybe you should have better judgment on your employees."

"She just walked in," I stated

"She just walked in," I stated. I walked over to her. "Hey."

"Hi, Ollie," Izzy smiled as she gave me a hug. "Thank you."

"For what?" I asked.

"Getting me a dress," Izzy stated. "I've been spaced out for the past couple of days that I totally forgot."

"You're welcome," I smiled. One of Izzy's favorite songs, Love Story by Taylor Swift, started playing. She was smiling. "Can I have this dance?"

"Yeah," Izzy replied. We got on the dance floor. "Can I tell you a secret?"

"You can tell me anything," I replied.

"I do hope to get married again, one day," Izzy nodded. "I also hopes he proposes during this song."

"I know you're going to find love again," I smiled. "It's happen in due time." Five months passed by. I knocked on Izzy's bedroom door and she opened it. "Hey, I heard a couple things crashing up here. Is everything okay?"

"Uh, yeah," Izzy nodded. She fully opened her door. "Just a little redecorating. Hope you don't mind."

"I don't, but you know I have contractors that can build you your dream room, right?"

"I know."

"Well, what are you redecorating?"

"I was trying to figure out my picture wall, but I took a step and missed the bed completely."

"You're so clumsy," I smiled. I took a glance at her pictures. "What happened to all your pictures with Davis?"

"I have a scrapbook. I only kept a few and getting rid of the rest. It's been half a year. I need to move on, but I'm never gonna forget him."

"Okay."

"Yeah," Izzy replied. Her alarm rang and she looked at it. "Oh. I gotta go. I have an appointment I need to get to."

"Is everything okay?"

"Oh, everything's fine," Izzy smiled as she grabbed her purse. "I'll see you later."

"Okay," I replied as she left. I was alone in my thoughts. "I was wondering if you'd like to go to dinner together, like a date?"

Chloe's POV

Izzy walked into Watch Tower and sat on the couch. "Hello to you too," I stated. "How are you?"

"Chloe, I want to know if I can confide in you?" Izzy looked at me.

"I would say it depends on the situation," I turned to look at her.

"I can't roll with that," Izzy nodded. "I need this conversation to be 100% confidential."

"Okay," I signed. I turned off all the computer monitors. "You have my word that nothing could ever hear what you're going to tell me." Izzy looked at me. "I won't tell another soul about this."

"You promise?" Izzy asked.

"I promise," I nodded. "I put Watch Tower into dark mode for you. What more could I —"

"I'm pregnant," Izzy cut me off. I looked at her. "I'm 7 months pregnant."

"Oh my God," I sat next to her. "How have you been able to hide it?"

"Because my 7 months is like 4 months for most people."

"Wait, if you're only 7 months, that doesn't make sense," I replied. "Davis has only been dead for 6. Unless —" Izzy let a tear go. "Davis is the father."

"Yeah," Izzy nodded. "So far, Emil doesn't see any abnormalities in the baby."

"But?"

"If she is anything like Davis, I wanna split her," Izzy replied. "Split her before she knows anything."

"Izzy, we have to tell the team," I nodded. "If your daughter's beast is anything like Davis, we're going to need them. Clark's the only way to send the beast to the Phantom Zone." Izzy sighed. "We have to prepare, Izzy."

"I'm scared, Chloe," Izzy nodded.

"They're not going to judge you," I replied. "I do know that they'll wanna get ahead of this."

"There are my two favorite ladies," Oliver smiled as he walked in. Izzy got up and quickly left. "Did I do something to upset her?"

"Uh, no," I stated. "Just girl talk. What can I do for my favorite archer?"

"I wanna ask Izzy to be my girlfriend," Oliver smiled.

"Uhm, uh, okay," I stated, a little taken back. "Uhm, why?"

"She's finally letting go of her life with Davis," Oliver nodded. "I was always having to hide who I was, but Izzy knows about all the good and bad I've been through."

"So there's no judgement," I replied. "I think you should wait on that thought and just talk to her."
