Izzy's POV

I got to Miami and wait straight to his place that I knew of. I walked inside and AC and Mera were sitting poolside just giggling and smiling away. "Well, I can see why you've been dodging my calls," I crossed my arms.

"Izzy," he got up and looked at me. "You weren't supposed to come and find me."

"If you had listened to my messages, you'd know why I'm here," I looked at him. I saw Mera's expression changed. "Unless you never heard any of my messages."

"You stopped sending messages like 2 weeks ago," AC replied.

"AC, I left five messages over the last week," I nodded. "Ollie is getting everyone back together." Mera stood up. "I never stopped looking for 7 years."

"I helped Orin understand his true origins and destiny as the king of the sea," Mera replied.

"No, you took him away from his family," I stated.

"Last I checked, you were adopted," Mera replied.

"We're half-blood," I looked as her. "Ace, I'm glad you're embracing your mom's side of the family, but you can't forget about the rest of us." I looked at him. "Who was there for you when you started figuring out your powers? Who was by your side when people started seeing you differently?" AC looked at me. "You know where I am when you decide to come back."

"What if you need me for a mission?" AC asked.

"You can't have one foot in the door," I nodded. "You're either with us or against us." I left Miami and went back to Metropolis. I walked into Watch Tower and everyone looked at me. "Uhm, AC won't be joining us. He's choosing the sea with Mera."

"He's chosing his own wife over his sister?" Chloe asked.

"I'm okay with it," I shrugged. "He knows. I won't forgive him as easily. He's gonna have to earn my trust back."

"We'll still be here if he needs us," Clark nodded. "I know it might be hard, but you'll be okay."

"This is a complicated life, Clark," I replied. "But I don't know if he'll be there for me in the future. I have to prepare, not only myself, but my kids." I looked at my girls. "They don't even know who their uncle is. It makes me sad, but it was his choice."
