Both siblings sat comfortably, looking at each other with interest and anticipation."Samuel," Elizabeth began in a low voice, "I don't want to get in your way with this, but... understand that I have reasons for coming back." Samuel nodded. "I see, Elizabeth. I'm glad you're here. Talk. What brings you back to town after all these years?" Elizabeth paused for a moment before continuing, "I think it's about time I finally cleared my name. It was an unfair twist of fate, Samuel. I was accused of stealing those documents, but I actually had them to reveal the truth about the illegal activities of some powerful figures. No one believed me except you." Elisabeth was unfairly accused years ago, but she could not do anything against powerful people. Samuel listened carefully and then asked, "Where have you been for the past few years, Elizabeth? You left suddenly and never heard from anyone.""After the accusation, I tried to save the evidence, but everything went wrong," she replied. "I lived on the outskirts of town for a long time, hiding from the public. But eventually, they found me and charged me with attempted tampering with evidence, for which I had to spend time in prison."Samuel nodded. "I think the time is really right to clear your name. He thought for a moment and then began, "Elizabeth, I have begun to unravel the mystery of the residence. I have found a series of journals that describe unexplained phenomena that have been happening in the building for many years. They are connected to something called the family treasure. I think that there is a connection between these mysteries and what happened to our family." Samuel and Elizabeth spent half of their childhood in an orphanage. Their parents suddenly disappeared when Samuel was 11 years old. For a long time, the police intensively searched for them, but despite all efforts, no concrete clues about what happened to them could be discovered. Their disappearance remained unexplained. The police searched their home, interviewed witnesses and obtained information about their movements before their disappearance. They looked for possible links to criminal activity, but all leads seemed to be dead ends. The lack of any evidence, testimony or clues leading to their mysterious disappearance made this case a mystery that was never solved. Elizabeth looked at him with interest. Until now, the siblings believed that the disappearance was related. by some kidnapping. This happened often in the world. But now that Samuel was finding out more about the Thornfields, he wondered if there might be a connection."A family treasure? That sounds fascinating. What have you found out so far?" Samuel began going through what he had discovered about the diaries, their entries, and the ways in which unexplained phenomena manifested. He told her about his efforts to understand the connections between the residence's past and their family's fate. Elizabeth listened intently, interested in every detail. After Samuel finished his story, Elizabeth took a deep breath and said, "Samuel, I don't have much experience in a job like yours, but I want to help you if I can. I want to contribute to uncovering the truth about our family and residence."Their conversation moved to a new stage when they came together in a common goal to uncover the secrets that surrounded their family and residence. Samuel felt that he was finally not alone in his quest, and that his sister could be the key to the truth he had been trying to find for so long.
