They arrived at the studio bright and early. Makeup artists, hair stylists, models and other staff were rushing about trying to get organised and complete their tasks. Maeve stayed close to Ben as he lead her through the building. Maeve guessed he was no stranger to the place, as he confidently strided through halls and rooms. Never asking for directions or help to locate someone.

The people they passed all smiled politely at the two, it brought comfort to Maeve.

Her camera was held in its case, the strap resting on her shoulder. The rest of her equipment was already brought earlier. It made getting from place to place easier and quicker.

Maeve observed every room they walked in, every decoration hung on the wall and all the people they met. There was already multiple photoshoots going on in different rooms. Music could be heard coming from them.

Maeve would be taking photos for the front cover of the 'Spotlight' magazine, a popular magazine between teenagers and young adults. It featured models, the latest fashion, makeup tips and the latest gossip concerning popstars and bands. Ben would be adding the finishing touches to the designs him and Adam Weller, worked on. They would be featured in the 'Spotlight' fashion show.

The minute they walked in they witnessed the ongoing chaos. People rushed about in all different directions, multiple shouts could be heard from all over the room.
Ben wished her luck and walked off towards another door on the far end of the room.

Maeve walked amongst the havoc.
It took some time setting up the white backdrop, aswell as getting the reflectors, tripod and lights up. Once it was all done, she sighed in relief, that was always her least favourite part. Behind her laptops were opened and turned on, camera lenses in their cases along with multiple SD cards, just in case. Maeve turned up the volume on the speaker once the model walked out.

Maeve didn't keep up with the latest celebrities and models of the year, only if it involved Emelia. So her knowledge of the girl was limited, but she must be special if she's going to be on the front cover. She was without a doubt beautiful nevertheless.

The girls name was Lily Alves, tall and tan with black shiny hair that fell below her stomach. She had the perfect smile and dark green eyes. She wore a black body suit that was long sleeved, but off the shoulders. The neckline was circular and it was fitted tightly to bring out Lily's curves. She wore black heeled boots that went over her knee caps a few inches. Her hair was done in thick waves, often the parting would be changed from the middle to the side.

The photoshoot began and instantly Lily's face changed from friendly to relaxed and serous.

Maeve began calling out different poses and directions for her to follow. Lily did so without complaint, looking dead into the camera.

"Lift your chin. Head tilted more to the right!" Maeve directed. She continuously took picture after picture.

After about twenty minutes, Maeve decided to get a few photos with Lily sitting on a black stool. The make-up artists did a few touchups aswell as the hair stylists who added more hairspray to the front of her head.

Maeve discussed the poses and direction she wanted for the photoshoot. Naturally, Lily did everything perfectly.

She sat on the edge of the stool with her legs spread out Infront of her, one crossed over the other. Her head was tilted back and her lips slightly parted as one hand was supporting her weight on the back of the stool, whilst the other was on her neck, her fingers brushing against her throat.

Maeve knew this was the photo, but continued on taking more pictures incase she changed her mind.

The shoot ended up lasting little over an hour, one of the quickest Maeve had done. Ben had came to watch towards the end.

"I think all this hard work has earned us lunch." Ben grinned at her. He stood with his hands in his trouser pockets away from all the people and equipment.

Maeve found herself agreeing before she even acknowledged her words. The studio was becoming too warm for her liking.

*Ding*

The noise of her phone notification made her pause in he steps, once she grabbed it from her purse she continued walking behind Ben.

Bill
I have the perfect date for you planned! Clear your schedule for tonight!! It's at the four seasons restaurant at 7 sharp! Don't be late!

Maeve let out an annoyed groan. She had forgotten about agreeing to let Bill set her up with someone entirely. She regretted it right now when she was tired and hungry. Checking the time on her phone, it was half three. That meant she had time to get something small to keep her going and get ready.

"Please don't make me regret this." Maeve muttered pleadingly to herself.
