A/N: Another big time skip between those 2 chapters, sorryy. In the game you're on chapter 6 now.

"Abigail, we know where John is, you stay here. We'll rescue him." Sojhi said, gazing over to Sadie. "She's right. We'll get him back to you, we promise." She nodded with a reassuring smile, getting onto the small canoe, Arthur followed with a slight cough. Sojhi looked at the two for a moment, exhaling. "I believe in you two. I'll stay with Abigail so she doesn't worry too much," she spoke, softly gripping her shoulder. Sadie nodded, and Arthur just said: "Take care you two," with a nod. They paddled away from the shore, to the other side.
"Let's sit down, shall we?" Sojhi purred, sitting down. Abigail exhaled, then also sitting down, beginning to rant; "I'm so worried about him. I- what- what if they.." She began to stutter with a sniffle, Sojhi rubbing her back. "He'll be alright. He's strong, and he didn't seem hurt when we were both in jail." Abigail nodded at her words, sniffling as a tear fell down her face, wiping it away. "I promise." Sojhi declared, emphasising the word 'promise'. Abigail smiled at her words. Abigail leaned against Sojhi, dozing off to a light sleep.
After who knows how long they finally got back, with John. Abigail ran up and hugged him, Sadie stared at Arthur. Sojhi smiled at Arthur, walking up to him to kiss him, yet, he just walked past her. She looked after him confused, "He's a little stressed." Sadie murmured. Sojhi sighed, walking after him and mounting her horse. As she did so, Arthur was already riding away.
She rode back to camp with the others, being quiet the entire ride. "Sojhi, there's something you need to know," Sadie began, "I know it will be hard to hear from me, but I don't think Arthur is able to tell you," she explained, "he's got tuberculosis."

Sojhis POV:
My world shattered when I heard that. All the things I imagined Arthur and me doing some day disappeared like they were never there. I wanted to scream and cry. I wanted to... I couldn't. Not in front of them. "Fuck." I murmured, with a weak and shaky voice, I began to tremble. "Fucking shit! No. Please tell me it's not true." I began shouting at Sadie, starting to cry unbelievably bad. I didn't want to believe it. I didn't care about them. I only cared about Arthur. I wiped my tears and sniffled, galloping to camp and leaving the others behind. I needed to know if it was true.
When I finally arrived at camp, I headed straight towards Arthur's tent. "Arthur Morgan!" I yelled at him, my eyes were still slightly red. I hear him cough out a: "Yes?"
His dry voice makes me realise everything. His dry voice has been trying to tell me he's not been feeling well, it sounds so weak too. And his eyes got so red. Please. Not him. I love him.. "Is it true? Is it true you've got tuberculosis? Why didn't you tell me in person?" I overwhelmed him with questions, having the urge to cry again. "I'm sorry." He only said, "I was scared you'd react like.. well, like this. I should've told you. I'm sorry, I really am. It's true." His words broke me again. And it all went black. Hearing him say it made it worse. I began to cry again, I hear him stand up and take me in his arms. "Is this why you weren't near me? Were you scared you'd infect me?" I talked through sobs, I could feel him nod. "Please. I don't know how much longer you've got to live. I wanna feel your touch. Your lips. I don't want to watch you die without feeling your touch anymore." I cried out, before kissing him deeply, he returned the kiss, before pulling away and wiping my tears. "I promise you I'll be fine."
In that moment John, Sadie and Abigail came back to camp. Dutch saw John and got mad immediately, "I thought I said that we'd wait it out?" He growled, I sniffled and wiped my tears again. "Well we got him out. They were talking about hanging us." I said, practically challenging him. Dutch stared at John, before gazing over to me. His gaze flickered to Arthur, then back to me. "They were talking." He emphasised 'were', fucking idiot. But he left it and walked away, waving his hand off at us. Abigail hugged John again with happiness. Jack came running at them. I've always adored Jack. I hoped to have a child with Arthur. Those hopes are gone. I suppose.

Time skip to tomorrow...

I woke up in Arthur's tent, it was maybe 5AM. I felt a bad need to throw up. I quickly stood up and went to a bush, throwing up, and gagging a little. I groaned, hearing someone walk up behind me. "Soj? You okay?" It was Ruth. "Oh, Yeah." I mumbled, throwing up again. "Doesn't look like it. Do you feel sick..?" She questioned, and I shook my head. "Let's hope you're not pregnant." She chuckled, I thought for a moment. "Oh god! What if I am?" I panicked. "What? Are you telling me, you and Arthur were intimate the last days..?"  Ruth asked, shaking her head slightly in disbelief, then grabbing my shoulders. I nodded and she began to shake me softly back and forth. "SOJ! Jesus! Maybe you're gonna be a mother!" She said, a grin spreading on her face. "Without a father..." I muttered. Sadness overwhelmed me, if I really was pregnant, my child would have to grow up without a father. Oh dear lord. Please don't let him die.
"Did you say something?" Ruth got me back to reality, looking at me with a questioned look on her face. "No, no. It's alright."
