You groan as you roll through the warm comforter of your bed, throwing them off you. Your body was covered in sweat, hair sticking to your neck, and clothes from the night before uncomfortably fitting on your body from tossing and turning all night. As soon as you open your eyes, you look up at the ceiling as it starts spinning in your vision. You felt sick and dizzy from the heaps of alcohol the night before. You close your eyes, hoping to stop the room from spinning, but it still feels like the world spun around you. Despite your body feeling heavy and your head feeling like it'll split open, you sit up quickly, running to the bathroom as you hold a hand over your mouth, hoping you won't puke on the way to the toilet.

You slam the toilet lid open, grabbing as much hair out of your face as you fall to the ground in front of the porcelain bowl, vomit projectile out of your mouth as soon as you hover over the toilet. You were crouched there, feeling hopeless as you could not stop yourself from puking up all the alcohol from the night before until it was just stomach bile. You were loud and obnoxious with every hurl coming from you. You were praying your parents had already left for work to save yourself from embarrassment and getting in trouble.

When the suffering finally ended, you were winded, catching your breath as you lay in pain on the bathroom floor. You curled into a ball for a few minutes, collecting yourself, feeling momentarily relieved from puking everything up. You knew that wouldn't last long until you felt like puking again, so you took the opportunity to stand up. Your hunched-over frame was grasping the back of the toilet as you flushed your vomit and closed the lid from the ugly sight. You close the bathroom door, strip your disgusting clothes from your sweaty body, and shower. The water was freezing against your skin, but you did it purposefully to help yourself sober up and eliminate the heat taking over your body from how sick you were beginning to feel once again.

After your shower, you get dressed in something comfy since you'd bet you won't leave the house today, opting for recovery. Once changed, you head downstairs to the kitchen for water and something to fill your stomach. Luckily, the house was empty, and you didn't see your parents' cars in the driveway, signaling they both were at work. As you walked around, your bare feet were cold against the house's hardwood floors, which seemed to help ground you from being dizzy like you were earlier. When you ate a small snack and sipped on some water, you felt much better, not completely recovered, but you didn't feel dizzy anymore and no more stomach ache, but you still had a migraine. Yet, you wanted to wait awhile before taking medicine in case you puke again.
