It had been a few days since the meeting with the school heads and second in command.

The group hung out like normal, and Teddy became incorporated into the group. Gray didn't mind this; he had already finished whatever conflict he had with him.

Gray slowly warmed up to the idea of having a group to talk to and interact with. The wholesome atmosphere was something Gray wasn't familiar with.

With Donald, Gray had a relationship of mentor and student, or two close co-workers—some would argue a brotherly relationship. But with the group, he felt like a normal high school student.

It wasn't that he hated how the relationship was with Donald; Gray just liked the change and found it refreshing.

Though the group became closer, Gray was still on guard. He couldn't allow himself to be completely vulnerable in front of these people.

Even though Ben knew his past, he didn't consider it an invitation to be friends.

Well... that wasn't how he viewed it.

The only friend he ever had was Stephan, so he didn't understand how the whole concept worked.

The group was out walking to the stand that sold chicken but Alex and Gray felt someone watching them.

Gray was going to let whoever was watching them go; he didn't want to ruin the atmosphere, and since they weren't causing any trouble, he figured it was okay.

Alex stopped smiling with Ben and looked towards Gray.

"Gray... did you notice?" Alex asked Gray.

"Yes," Gray responded, not able to avoid confrontation now that Alex brought it up.

"What the hell is going on?" Ben asked, confused as to why both Alex and Gray were speaking cryptically.

Alex ran in the direction they were being followed and immediately confronted the one who was there.

"Who the hell are you? Why are you tailing us?" Alex asked.

The boy with glasses, Timothy, stared at the boys in fear.

"What the hell are you doing?" Gray asked, recognizing the boy immediately.

Timothy... this guy is close with Jake. Is he following me? Did Jake or Dean tell him who I am?

"What's going on?" Ben asked, walking beside Alex and Gray.

"This prick has been following us," Alex said, pointing towards Timothy.

Dean saw Timothy's back but couldn't clearly make out who was confronting him. He ran towards him in order to defend him.

"Timothy, who are these jerks?" Dean asked, finally looking up and seeing Gray.

Dean froze. His eyes widen with shock.

"You-" Dean was about to speak, but Gray glared at him.

Dean thought about the consequences of interacting with Gray in the open and decided against it.

"Let's just go. These guys aren't worth it," Dean huffs, pulling Timothy away.

"Hey! We're not done! This has nothing to do with you. I need answers from that bastard." Alex stands firm.

Dean turns and glares, not daring to do anything in the presence of Gray but not submitting either.

Just then, Jake appeared, running in front of Dean and Timothy.

"What's going on?" Jake asks, looking at the group, surprised to see Gray.

Jake understood how Gray wished to stay under the radar, so he focused his attention on his friends.
