It hasn't been finalised. The events of time are and will never be set in stone. A straightforward accident could cause such grief in a cat that time itself comes whirling back.
The Night Before They Left
"It's just the two of us now," Jayfrost mused. "See you in the morning."
Ferretspring and Jayfrost were in a small cave, huddling together away from the cold outside. After not wanting to return to the Clans,
"Goodnight, Jayfrost," Ferretspring glumly meowed before his eyes shut tight. Jayfrost responded by doing the same, closing his eyes and slowly drifting off into sleep and beginning to dream a most magnificent of dreams of a vibrant and fruitful forest witnessing the sun go down.
Hello, Jayfrost.
"Who are you?" Jayfrost interrogated, his beautiful dream of lush forests turning jet black as the sun had set forever.
I am the void.
We are the void. It's not just you, Mintleaf. Inside the black dream where two unknown cats were arguing, Jayfrost could see something that looked like a rift, its colour a vibrant blue that reminded him of starry skies.
We are StarClan. Your eyes allow us to visit. But be wary, the void opens to all.
Just then, the rift slammed shut, before slowly reopening, this time with a white hue.
Ah, found you. Initially, I thought it was Ferretspring, but it was you. It's weird I could speak to him though.
"What in StarClan is happening!" Jayfrost yowled in frustration, lashing his two tails.
I'm like you. Head west when the time comes.
Abruptly, Jayfrost awoke, leaving behind his strange dream.
The Night They Escaped
After the escape, in a camp close to an ocean, a calico cat strolled in, spitting on the ground in disgust.
"Ah, Mapleleaf. I trust you found Ferretspring and the others?"
"Nope," 'Mapleleaf' lied, a sinister smile hidden on his face. "They've fled the Clan. Declare them enemies now, for they have abandoned us."
