✶general advice!
skincare is really subjective.
what works for someone may not
work for you so it's important
to explore and do your research and test out
things.for example, a lot of ppl have
been complaining abt innisfree
saying that it's not good but
for me it works.nevertheless, i hope this chapter
helps you a lot and sorry for not updating
in a long time !basic skincare routine:
morning:
1. cleanser
2. vitamin c serum
3. moisturiser
4. spf (at least 30+)
night:
1. double cleanse2. toner
3. targeted serums (serums made to fix one particular skin issue)
4. moisturiser
others:
- exfoliate 1-3x weekly- mask 1x weekly
- retinoids 2x-3x weekly (at night)
- facial oils (1 hr before you shower)
lip care:
1. exfoliate using honey-sugar or vaseline sugar: mix honey and sugar or vaseline and sugar and rub on your lips. after a couple minutes, wipe them off.
2. apply lip balm (i use nivea!)
3. apply lip spf (rec: Naked Sundays SPF 50 glow + Go hydrating lip oil)
things to avoid:
- don't touch your face without washing your hands
- don't use harsh/abrasive scrubs
- don't over-exfoliate your skin
- avoid using too many skincare products at once
- avoid highly processed foods
