It was lunch-break. All the seats were occupied..."Ugh. Well, guess I'll have to stand and eat again." Felix gloomed.
*No, wait. Come along.*
Felix was confused but followed Jisung anyway.
They reached a table where two girls were sitting. Both of them looked terrified after noticing Jisung.
"We- we'll leave--" The girls quickly walked away from the table.
"Woah, mate!" He exclaimed in disbelief. "This is the first time I've ever gotten an empty table! Hanging out with you with is better than I thought."
Jisung gave him a smug grin at that.
"Who's that dude?" Hyunjin, who sat with Paris, and some other girls, asked while glaring at Felix who was sitting with Jisung.
"Who?" Paris sounded confused.
"That one over there, sitting next to that squirrel-guy." He pointed at them.
"No clue. Probably some loser that no one takes notice of." She mocked, making her friend beside her giggle too.
"Why is he even hanging out with him?" He questioned again.
"I don't know?" She replied. "Babe, stop stressing about him! He's no trouble to you or any of us, people are being dramatic."
"Yeah, Hyunjin. Just because he looks daunting, doesn't mean he can fight." Paris' friend ridiculed and the girls let out a laugh.
Jisung and Felix overheard their loud conversation and Jisung clenched his jaw as he stood up.
"Just ignore them, Hannie. Those jerks feel the need to tear everybody down." Felix tried to calm him down.
'He's right... I'm glad I sort of have a friend now. If I fight with them again, over their petty words, then I'll be expelled from this school and taken to a different one again. I'd rather ignore it so I don't lose the only friend I have and ever had in a day.' He thought.
"So.. what deserts should we get?!" Felix asked him excitedly and Jisung smiled at his adorable behavior.

After school got over...
"Bye, Hannie!! See you tomorrow!" They waved at each other.
Jisung then turned around to reach the school gate when he got stopped by a high-pitched voice.
"Uh, where do you think you're going?" It was Paris.
'Home?' Jisung wrote it down. 'Why would you ask?'
"Because we have a project to do together, dummy!" She said, annoyed.
'Oh, right! Are we supposed to start doing it today?'
"That's what the teacher said, didn't she?" She asked, rhetorically.
'So where do you want to do the project? At the library?'
"Ew, no way! Not the library." She dramatically covered her mouth as if Jisung just said something offensive. "We can do it at my place."
'And where is your place?'
"At District Nine."
'But District Nine will take me hours to go by foot!'
"Oh, I have a car..." She started. "But there's no way I'd ever let you in. See you at my house in an hour, bye!"
She left Jisung standing there.
'Now what am I going to do?!'
Jisung was immersed in his own thoughts when he heard another voice.
"Jisung?"
He turned around to see... Hyunjin..?
"Why are you standing here? Aren't you supposed to be with Paris, working on your project?" He inquired.
'She wants to do the project at her house and I have no idea how I'm gonna reach 'cause it's gonna take me hours to get there.'
"Can't she just drive you?"
'She said that there is no way she would let me step in her car.'
Hyunjin sighed. "Come on then."
He started moving towards the school gate, leaving Jisung in confusion. He looked back and spoke, "I'll give you a ride to her house."
