River's POV:

I go upstairs after telling y/n I would make her breakfast. When I got upstairs it looks like nobody is home. I look through the fridge and decide to make a vegan breakfast skillet. I hope she's okay eating something plant based. I hope Ryan and Wyatt finished editing the video for this week. I decide to text the group chat.

River: Did you guys finish editing this weeks video?

Wyatt: I finished it this morning, it should be going live in a few hours

Ryan: Yeah dude, you're good. Are you coming to brekky?

River: Nice boys! We are going to stay home but I'll see ya boys when you're back

I finish up breakfast. I hope y/n likes it. I really want to get to know her more but she needs to know that we are going back to our home tomorrow. I don't know how she will take it. I grab our plates and head back downstairs.

Y/n POV:

I am glued to their videos already. I get about halfway done with the video and River comes in and I'm so invested in the video it made me jump a little. He was carrying 2 plates of food. He hands me one of them and sits next to me. "Whatcha watching there?" he asks. "Oh, uh one of your guys videos but I didn't finish it yet." He looks at my phone. "Ooo The Haunted Hill House, that place was super scary. We ended up going back, you know?" he says. "You guys are crazy. I would be so scared to do what you do." I say. "Yeaaahh, Ryan was not happy about that one. you'll see why when you finish." I take a bite of my food. "Wow Rive, this is amazing!" He laughs, "Thanks, it's all plant based. I was worried you wouldn't like it." he says. "I'm impressed, it's so good!" I reply. "Hey y/n?" he says. "Yeah?" He sighs, "I should have told you this sooner but we have to go back home tomorrow as we have some more videos we need to film." I smile, "That's okay, I can just drive to your house. I don't mind." He looks down. "Yeah, that would be awesome except it's 4 hour drive from here." He says. "Oh.. I didn't realize you live so far from here." I say. "We will still come visit and you can come visit us. Maybe you can do an investigation with us too! I hope you're not too upset." he says. I put down my plate and scoot closer to him. "I'm not upset, I'm just a little bummed that I won't see you for awhile. What if you were to forget about me?" I say. River turns to me and looks me in the eyes, I get lost in those blue eyes. He pushes my hair behind my ear and traces my jawline with his hand and caresses my cheek. He leans in closer to me and kisses me softly and I kiss him back just as soft. Wow. He pulls away and puts his forehead against mine. "I could never forget about you, Princess." He says quietly. Did he just call me Princess? I bite my lip, "Promise?" He smiles, "Promise."

We spend the rest of the morning in bed watching Adventure Time and cuddling. River looks at the time, "Oh, the new episode is about to air. Do you want to watch it?" He asks. "Sure!" He puts on YouTube and we continue to cuddle. All of a sudden Ryan bursts into the room like he owns the place. This causes me to jump. "What up bitcheeessss?" He yells. River throws a pillow at him. "Whaaaat the fuuuuck dude? What do you want?" River asks as he pauses the TV. "Why? So you guys can do the nastaaayyyy?" He laughs. My cheeks turn red. "Oh. my. god. Ryan! if we were doing the nastaaayyyy do you really think I would leave the door unlocked for my ding dong of a brother to barge in?" I giggle. I haven't seen much of this side of River's goofiness and immaturity. "What are you laughing at zone out girl?!" Ryan gives me a funny stern look. "Don't drag me into this, ya dweeb!" River laughs, "Yeah, you dweeb!" Ryan squints his eyes at us. "Two against one?! NOT fair!" He exclaims, we all laugh. "Seriously though dude, what do you want?" Asks River. "Well, Rive, IF you MUST know. I want to see when you wanted to leave tomorrow. Wyatt wants to leave early but I want to leave later." Ryan says. "I'm not sure right now, can I get back to you this afternoon?" River asks. "Sure bro, I'll leave you guys be." Ryan goofily runs out the room and closes the door. "I'm sorry y/n. Ryan sucks sometimes." I laugh, "It's fine, you guys cracked me up!" River pulls me close and he plays the video again.

Their video ends. "What did you think?" River asks. "I am totally spooked right now. I feel like I need to watch a Disney movie and shower away the spirits that may or may not have come through the TV." He and I both laugh. "That can be arranged." I smile. "I don't have any clothes here besides what I wore last night and I really don't want to look at those EVER again." I say. "Well, we have some merch in our car that might fit you or I can drive your car and drive you home. We can also burn those clothes as if they never existed." He said. "Do you mind taking me home and we can burn them there? I also still have to talk to the officer today about the attack.. Can you come with me?" He nods. I start to get up from cuddling but River pulls me back down. "Just a few more minutes." My heart flutters. After a few minutes we both start getting up. He grabs my pile of clothes and I grab my phone and keys. "Ready?" River asks. I nod. We make our way upstairs and towards the living room where everyone was hanging out. "Hey look who it is!" Wyatt says, we both wave. "I'm going to take y/n home and I'll be back later." He lets everyone know. "Wait, gimme a kiss before you leave!" Says Wyatt laughing and running up to River. Ryan and I are laughing hysterically. River goes in for a pretend kiss and then pushes Wyatt away. "That's all you get, bye loser!" Wyatt pouts which makes us laugh harder. "Bye guys, see you later." I tell them. We go to my car and I give River my keys. "Thank you for driving Rive." I say. "No problem, Princess. Let's get outta here." he says.

We arrive at my home and get out the car. "You're coming in, right?" I ask River. "Yeah, of course. Let's go inside." He said. We make our way inside. "Can we burn my clothes first? I just want to never see them again." I grab a bin, lighter fluid, and a match. We go outside throw the clothes in the bin, pour the fluid, and light a match and throw it in there. River wraps his arm around me and pulls me into him. We watch the clothes burn until the fire burns out. "I'm ready to shower." I say. We start to walk back inside but I turned back around, kick the bin and spit on the burnt remains. River comes up behind me and hugs me. "Come on, let's get you in the shower now." I smile, "Okay." We finally go inside and I show him around and take him to my room. "This is my room." I say. "It's very you y/n. Ooooo I like that black, fuzzy blanket it looks sooo cozy. I'm SO stealing it." He giggles. "That's my favorite blankie, you can't have it. Sorry not sorry!" I said sternly. "Oh, yeah? Says who?!" He squints at me. "I say so!" He laughs, "Is that so, princess?" I love when he calls me Princess? "Yeah, that's so!" I say. At this time I was shifting through my closet looking for clean clothes to wear and I didn't hear or feel River come up right behind me. I turn around and he's right there looking into my eyes with those blue eyes. "What are you going to do about it if I did steal it?" He says quietly to me, he takes his hand uses his thumb to glide over my bottom lip, I see him stare at it and look back up at me. "I guess you will have to try and find out, won't you?" He smirks like he likes that answer and steps back, "Did you pick something out to wear?" I nod, "Yeah, I'm going to shower real quick but feel free to use my TV. I go to my bathroom and take a shower. This is nice and much needed. I try to take a quick shower so River didn't have to wait long. I got out, got dressed, and brushed my hair. I make my way back into my room and River has fallen asleep. I go over to him and straddle his lap, I lean down towards him and whisper in his ear, "Wake up sleepy head, time to get up." I feel River's arms wrap around me, "Mmm, I could get used to this.. Princess." I giggle, "Princess, huh?" I ask. "Is that okay? Do you not like it?" He asks. I look at him, "I do like it but I just thought you weren't the pet name type of guy." I say. "I guess you just have a lot to learn about me then." He smirks. My heart start pounding, we agreed to take things slow. I should cool things off. I smile at him. "Are you ready to go, sleepy head?" I ask him. He nods. I get off from him and he gets up from my bed. He grabs my keys and says, "I'll drive." We get in my car and drive to the police station.
