Every selfless act can be selfish too, if you do the selfless act because it will make you feel good, or y you some positive outcome. Is the act then still selfless?

Because you did the act. People deserve to feel good and have positive outcomes, doing something because you know you'll feel happy shouldn't discredit the work you did. The act you did.
Are we deserving?

Of anything..? Love, hate, pain, happiness! Do we, as a society, deserve?
