Chapter 9 - This is your fault

Karl paced around in his room, hands on his hair gripping tighter and tighter as he couldn't believe what just happened, he was just calmed and had a no-face face but this was the first time that Sapnap went rage mode in his life. So this is what his bad side felt like. He couldn't believe what just happened. "Why did I even agree to this deal?" Karl asked himself that question but couldn't he blame himself that his sister wasn't listening to him?

"We need to talk." Karl turned around to see his parents looking mad at what happened.

"What was that?" His dad glared at him.

"Look, it was her who made him mad," Karl said.

"Yeah, but you invited him over." His mom joined in.

"It was HER idea to invite him, not mine. She's the one who made me invite him in the first place!" Karl shouted at his parents for the first time

"Do not raise your voice young man!" His mom warned him, but Karl answered: "I'm telling you the truth! Why are you guys taking her side?!"

"We aren't taking sides, She's younger than you and you know that!" His dad said with a high angry tone. "Your friend screamed at your sister, do you think it's ok?!" His mom asked in a high tone as well.

"No! Plus, we're not even friends and she's the one who pours gravy on top of him!"

"It was an accident!" Mom shouted. "AN ACCIDENT?! Didn't you see her being CLINGY to him?!" Karl shouted at them as they talked back to each other for 5 minutes before his dad said:

"You know what?! That's enough talking 'cause you are grounded for 3 weeks!" Karl's eyes widened at what he just heard. His eyes became on fire, gritted teeth shouting at his parents "So you guys are gonna ground me without a reason?! It's your fault that we're into this mess, you haven't seen the view of me!"

"WE?!"

"YES!"

"Are you blaming us?!"

"Yeah because you guys are taking her side and not me!"

"WE AREN'T TAKING SIDES! Don't you dare bring her into this!"

"I will and to begin with, you guys don't deserve her in the first place!" His parents were shocked at what he said but they still have anger in their eyes. Karl received a slap on the face and a lecture from his father while he looked at the ground. Looking at the ground made him weak and there was nothing he could do about it before they left his father said "Again you're grounded and not allowed to go out with your friends till your time is UP!" Before they left the room, slamming it shut Karl flinched before turning to his bed and lying down, silently crying at the moment while he faced the window feeling that this was the worst day of his entire life.

Sapnap walks through the late-night street angrily, thinking of what happened back at Karl's house, for the first time in a year or two he had let out his anger in front of Karl's family. Did he regret himself from shouting at Karl's sister? We don't know as he reaches his home where he is met by Sam, the security guard whose job is to guard the house that night. When he sees him he is shocked and asks: "Nick what's wrong?"
