Finally! Together, he and his buddies, especially Sapnap, managed to get through their final year of high school. Karl returned as his school's valedictorian, and all the teenagers were given certificates at the ceremony by the entrance to mark the end of their high school careers. He has found a new family that has welcomed him with open arms, despite the absence of his biological family. Karl walked up to the stage and stood behind the microphone to give his speech to everyone.
I would like to express my gratitude to all of you gathered at this ceremony today. With the support of my friends, we were able to achieve our goals and go on to the next phase of our lives. The most important thing in life is love and support when we need it, so if you need help, go to the people who are closest to you than anybody else. We never know what they are going through, so we should try to understand. I thank you for listening to my speech, and I hope to see you again in the future.
Once the ceremony ended, Karl got together with his friends as they talked and laughed around in the circle before saying goodbyes as they went their separate ways. "So..." Karl turned around and faced Nick with a smirk "What?" He asked which Nick blushed. "First time?"
"Everything is the first, including you." Karl became surprised as he tried to hide his blushes but failed. "Don't hide it."
"You're the one who started it." They both laugh as Nick's dad calls them out telling them to get ready. "Ok, Dad!" They started to walk towards the limo. "Hey Karl, I have a question."
"Sure. What is it?"
"Well, I had a hard time understanding my feelings but I was wondering do you wanna go somewhere?"
"Like a date?"
"Probably."
"Then it's a yes."
After two years, the two of them are now living in the same college dorm room. Karl had just done working and was leaning back in his chair, fatigued, as he closed his laptop. "Hey Karl,"
"I know you're tired but George texted me saying if you and I can meet today?"
Karl thought for a bit as they hadn't seen each other for so long "I guess, they could take my mind off of things."
"So, the answer is yes," Nick grinned. Karl stood up and they dressed differently before putting on shoes. Nick opened the door in front of Karl and said, "After you." Karl chuckled and left, followed by Nick as he shut the door.
