"You think that line is going to convince me to give you a chance?" Karl asked with his arms crossed on his chest.
"Yeah, I do see some stories along with fanfictions that did that," Sapnap said, blinking afterward.
"Maybe yes but..." Karl slapped him in the face AGAIN. "No." He simply replied before walking past him to get to his class. Both of them didn't turn around to see each other's faces but Karl stopped himself and said: "And pls, don't come near me after this." Before walking off, disappearing from the hallway. Sapnap just stood there like a statue before he was snapped into reality when someone tapped him on the shoulder, he turned to see a girl with comfortable clothes and blonde hair who asked if she knew where the Math class was. Sapnap nodded and they walked together to where her class was.
While Karl sat on his chair, scrolling through Twitter, he heard muffles coming outside his classroom, he looked at the wide open door and Sapnap along with a girl appeared in front of the classroom he was in and thanked Sapnap for his help. Karl felt something inside of him and he doesn't know what it is, it made him...jealous?

Today is Science Day and the teacher told the class to be quiet. Once everyone was settled down, the teacher told everyone that they had to create a project of something that they had learned before the deadline which was next week. "Based on the lessons you guys learn, I'll be picking your partners so that you can cooperate and concentrate." Everyone groaned and the teacher started pairing random students. My name was called and my head perked up as to who will be his partner today. "Karl, you'll be partnered with..."

His heart was beating, hoping and praying that he wouldn't be partnered up with this mindless, emotionless guy aka Sapnap aka his worst enemy.
"Sapnap."
Really?!
"Sir, why did you make me pair up with this guy?!" He shouted which caught Sapnap's attention. "Like I said, you need to cooperate properly." "Well, can you change my PARTNER?!" "I'm the teacher so no." Karl groaned and brought his arms to his desk and his head down resting on top. This is the worst...Someone approaches him and Karl brings his head up to see Sapnap who asks: "So are we going to discuss what Topic we're gonna present?" "How about you leave me alone for the rest of the class."
"Ok," Sapnap simply replies before he goes back to his seat which is at the left corner of the classroom and Karl goes back to rest. Both of them didn't talk to each other and Sapnap respected that he could give Karl some space but he never took his eyes off of him. He felt something inside his stomach that he couldn't tell.

Class ended and everyone started to head out Sapnap managed to get out of the doorway, he looked around to find Karl but he was nowhere to be found. He just vanished into thin air, I guess his Batman 2.0. Karl also managed to get out of class before him speed-walking in the opposite direction before he was spotted once he was out of sight, he took a deep breath and headed outside the school where he sat down under a tree called the "lonely tree" he named it because not a single person came up to him when his alone. After all, he was afraid that he'd be embarrassed when he introduced himself to new people, it was scary but when he made friends, he used the tree- no HIS tree for some alone time. He sat down between the roots and looked up at the leaves. They were beautiful but someone interrupted him and he looked to see where the voice was. "You again?!" Karl shouted HOW ON EARTH DID HE FIND KARL SO FAST?!!! "Yeah and?"
Karl signed and mumbled something that Sapnap couldn't hear, then he turned to Sapnap and asked: "What do you want?" "Well, I was going to talk to you about what time do you want us to start?" Karl forgot about the science thing that he was focusing on getting away from Sapnap. "How about after school?" Sapnap agreed, "Well we can't do it in my house since I'm grounded, we should go yours." Karl exclaimed but Sapnap shook his head "Is that all you have to say?"
"No, it's just that my parents fight a lot." Sapnap lied, he had to keep the truth private.
"OK, we'll do it at the local library," Karl suggested. Sapnap shrugged that Karl assumed that it was a 'yes' before he heard Sapnap ask: "Mind if I sit with you?" "Go ahead." I don't know why but when Sapnap sat next to him, his cheek slowly turned pink and he doesn't know why. Sapnap doesn't know.
Sapnap POV:
I don't know if I asked that question but Karl agreed and I did, neither of us looked at each other but just stared at the green leaves above us with our backs on the brown trunk behind us. I hope there are no ants. A leaf fell slowly to the grass in front of us and it made me smile not on my face but the inside of me making me calmer than before. It made me or us forget what happened before Science class.

Narrator POV:
School ended and both Karl and Sapnap agreed to meet each other outside the school. When they met, they stared into each other's eyes for a minute before Karl shook his head and asked: "You ready to go?" Sapnap nodded, not taking his eyes off him. "Ok, mindless guy." Sapnap shook his head as well and they started walking on the sidewalk. As usual, both of them were quiet, not a single word came out of their mouths as they continued walking they managed to reach a red brick building that had the word 'LIBRARY' on top as they went up the cement stairs and into the glass door where they were greeted by a woman who is in her 40's wearing a black shirt behind the desk. The first thing they did was find an empty seat for the both of them before going to a section where everything is all about Science. As they looked at each shelf, Sapnap asked: "What topic do we need to present?" "Idk, well it is Biology and I learned more about Homogenous and Heterogenous so..."
"OK. We'll choose that as our topic." Karl was surprised that Sapnap had chosen the Topic that Karl liked. They each grabbed a book as Karl got help from Sapnap and they went to their table, sat down, and began reading along with each other's help. Sapnap couldn't help but he couldn't concentrate properly, he would always move his head slightly to the right to get a good glance at Karl, his brown hair, gray eyes, and cute face. He would quickly put his head back to the book when Karl looked at him, which made his cheeks pink; honestly, he didn't know why.
