*Meanwhile, with Winters*
Winters enters some sort of underground lair with a stone tablet.
(I'm not sure exactly what it is, if you do please enlighten me!)
The device glows a bright red as it spreads its magic through them.
"Arise, my brothers. Arise, dear sister. The Stars of Kikan align." He chants the magic pulses through their stone veins. "All ye generals, wake from your stone slumber."
As he finishes, General Aguila slightly moves his hand.
The generals are awake.
*Later that night*
A plane heading into New York decends it's landing gear. A turtle can be seen hitching a ride.
He jumps from his place, activating his glider he has on his shell.
He's missed the city. He glides towards the water, skimming his hand through it, before pulling up.
He deactivates his glider, diving into the ocean and swimming through a sewer grate.
He arrives to see Mikey sleeping on the couch, a chocolate bar covering his eyes. Donnie sleeps in the armchair with a magazine over his.
The turtle smiles softly at his brothers, before seeing his father's light still on.
"Enter." Splinter says, still meditating. "Kneel, my son."
"I return from my training, master. I was so caught up in my own world, I forgot about everyone else." He looks down in shame. "I'm sorry I failed..."
If there is one thing he fears, it's failure. Letting his father down, letting his brothers down.
"On the contrary, my son..." Splinter says, grabbing a box and slowly opening it. "...now you are much stronger."
A metal was in the box. Splinter walks around his table towards him.
"Your strength is needed here now." He says presenting him with it. Meanwhile, Raphael arrived home to here voices from his father's room. He peeks around the corner, witnessing award ceremony.
"You owe me no apology, but perhaps you should talk to Raphael. Your absence has been particularly difficult for him..." Splinter lowers his head a small bit. "...though he'll never admit it."
"I'm certain things will go back to normal in no time, master." He says, determination in his eyes. Oh, how wrong he is.
"Good. Because until you can act as one, you are forbidden to fight." Splinter says. His tone is final.
"Yes, sensei."
"I have missed you, Leonardo." Splinter says, finally hugging his son.
"I missed you too, father."
They back away from the embrace, smiling slightly.
"Raphael." Splinter says, exposing the red brother. "Your brother is home."
Raphael opens the door ever so slightly, staring at Leo.
Leo smiles, excited to see his brother. "Hey."
Raph, however, keeps a sour face. He may have missed his brother, but Leo disappeared with no notice. Just gone.
He only admitted missing Leo to Y/N because she was easy to talk to, even when he wasn't good at talking. But even after their talk, it didn't extinguish his anger.
"Hey. Welcome home." He says, sort of awkwardly, raising his arms.
"Yeah. Thanks." Leo knows that's probably the best he could get.
